There maybe spears as well.” The Paladin says. “There was some flasks of oil, though to open the doors now would be folly.( If Kendell and Kaylessa are still working on securing the door, he will add his strength to theirs.”She will let the others know what she found. "There is a method to help drive off the enemy that bypass the trap. The doors have holes in them that allow us to use spears and crossbows or possibly arrows to strike the enemy through the door. We should prepare a defense for the first wave of enemy that reaches us."

Then return to the door.Saan finds a secret door near the stairs up to the observation area. But unfortunately no one has yet to figure out how to open it. It does seem to confirm the thought that the dwarf had about the area being connected to the halls far below. "If we can determine a method for opening it, then we do not have to be subjected to a prolonged seige by the evil humanoids. Definitely a large "if". I propose that some of us set up to defend the door while others continue to look for a means of operating the secret passage."
