Outside Horton's Plaza..
Serena advances on Major Star, sensing that his is the noblest of spirits here. "Are you in charge here?", Serena calls out. "Can you tell me what is going on?"
The patriotically clad Major turns to face the speaker. Her Holy Aura washes over him and he is momentarily in awe of the woman before him, but quickly recovers.
"I wish I knew what was going on, ma'am," the Major states. "Regardless, we must stop anyone who is causing destruction of property and those who are endangering innocents. Capture anyone who is out of control! Such as that man!"
Raising his right hand, Major Star unleashes a blast of nuclear energy at Fire & Ice, but misses the mark.
"Agreed," Serena responds and dashes off towards Fire & Ice.
Not too far away from Major Star, the fully transformed Harpy spreads her platinum colored wings and takes flight. Confused over her strange transformation and unsure what to do next, the Harpy simply flies off.
Near the center of the saucer wreckage, Yu and It continue to get better acquainted. "We musssst defeat them," It states, pointing a claw towards Galeforce, Wildcat, and the Mexican Banditos. "I will take care of the cat.. you take care of the gun holding ones."
It covers the distance between itself and Wildcat in a single bound. Once beside Wildcat he spins, sweeping his tail out behind him. The Wildcat's superior sense alert her to the attack and she easily hops over the swinging tail.
Wildcat's response to this attack is quite predictable. She lashes out with her claws, catching It in the chest. It feels a momentary stabbing pain in his chest as the Wildcat's claws rend his lizard-like flesh and draws blood. It staggers backwards and stares at his wound in disbelief.
While he bleeds, It feels as if his body is about ready to fall apart. (A most strange sensation indeed!) With great effort and by force of will, It manages to stabilize his body and maintain his current form.
Flexing his mighty legs, the Gargoyle covers the two blocks distance between himself and the rampaging T-Rex creating an impact crater in the street. By the time the gray-skinned man lands, the ancient dino has wandered into the Horton's Plaza shopping complex. The concourse the T-Rex has entered is just high enough to allow his passage. Gargoyle gives chase and enters into Horton's Plaza.

Inside Horton's Plaza...
While Andrew Knight struggles with his unleashed powers, he spies what is going on with Blue Steel. Amazingly his eyes can easily pierce the freezing fog that surrounds her. Even more surprising, this fog extends nearly twenty-five feet in all directions around her! The effect of this freezing fog is startling as it washes over the Neanderthals. It seemingly sucks the life and the warmth out of them!
Finding this more than he can bare, Andrew focuses on Killer Frost instead of himself. The powers he is manifesting seem to comply and the strange field of darkness that had been surrounding him vanishes. Andrew runs towards Killer Frost and without even realizes starts to fly at her!
He easily tackles the confused woman, directing both of them away from the Neanderthals. The freezing fog surrounding Killer Frost moves along with her and away from the primitive humans. (You can either simply tackle Blue Steel to the ground or fly off with her. Your choice.)
"Chill out girl," Andrew says to her, right before realizing the lame pun he just unwittingly made. "I know you're just a victim here too, but how would this look on your resume? Can't have that, now can you? I know how you hero types worry about your reputations. You can thank me later. Cold cash is always nice."
Regaining control of herself, Killer Frost looks at Andrew with her glowing blue eyes. "I'm in control again," she responds gratefully. "I don't know what happened to me and what caused me to do that. I'm warmer now. Thank you." She hugs Andrew in appreciation.
Close by and one floor down, Phaseflux is conversing with one of the men who had been a sacrifice in Spanish. Unexpectedly, the man switches into perfect English in mid-conversation.
"You mean you didn't speak English before now", Phaseflux questions. "I thought you were bilingual! Do you feel any other languages coming on sir?"
"I-- I don't know," the man stammers out in confusion. "I only knew a few words of English before."
Phaseflux looks the situation over. The dead man is currently beyond help and the Monster shows signs of coming around. "Time to leave the area now sir. It's not safe here right now. Take care of yourself sir. And if it turns out you have the gift of tongues be thankful. It could have been much worse."
Phase points towards the nearest exit as he picks up the Monster. The man eagerly agrees and begins to run in that direction. "Thank you my friend! I owe you my life! I am Jesus Montoya!"
Once the man is safe and with the Monster firmly in his grasp, Phaseflux begins to grow once more. In the span of heartbeats he grows out of the hole in the ceiling and emerges into the main concourse. Phase takes in the chaotic seen for a second before deciding his course of action.
Seeing Rage and Hellfire going at it and no one he deems to be an innocent in the immediate area, Phaseflux hurtles the Monster towards them like he was a baseball!
The Monster twists and turns as he is flung through the air and collides with Hellfire, sending both of them backwards to the floor. The Monster is down again, while Hellfire seems to be struggling to his feet. Ceasing this advantage, Rage chases after Hellfire and slams a powerful two-fisted smash into his back. Hellfire violently collides with the Plaza floor making an impression upon it. Remarkably, the demon is still coherent and begins to rise again.
On the second level over looking the open plaza, Cyrus MacGregor looks around, seeking a target to try out his new powers on. Down below he spies Affrighter moving closer to the man in the blue jumpsuit, a nasty looking weapon in his hand.
Pointing at the white haired man, Cyrus generates an ice ram that slams into the unsuspecting Affrighter. The Blood madman collapses to the ground, his weapon falling free from his hand.
The man in the blue jumpsuit doesn't seem to notice this at all. As he looks around, a yellowish glow surrounds his right eye. "Wide scale temporal disturbance," he mutters to himself. "Interesting!" With that, the man in the blue jumpsuit vanishes.
In a nearby store, a black bear does some rearranging to make herself fit better. The former Lily Pak is still operating on instinct alone. She attempts to find some place safe to hide. As she ambles through the skateboard shop, something remarkable happens. Inexplicably, the shop seems to be growing bigger around Lily!
No, what that's not right. It's Lily that's growing smaller. The bear shrinks down to cub size in able to allow her easier movement through the shop. Then Lily comes to a complete stop as her enhanced hearing picks up something back near the entryway. It sounds like the growl of some animal.
The lion-like man sniffed the air in search of prey. He smelled something promising in a nearby store. Something animal-like, but not like himself. Intrigued, the Carnivore stood before the skateboard shop attempting to see what it was he was sensing. The hunt on once more, the Carnivore stepped into the shop.

Outside Horton's Plaza...
With Wildcat's attention focused on It, the Silver Avenger moves in and strikes Wildcat with a powerful punch, sending the tabby back about twenty feet. The Wildcat lays there, momentarily stunned from the strike.
Fire & Ice screams in frustration at his futile efforts to harm Galeforce. The attack from Major Star distracts him away from the elemental. Unleashing another scream, Fire & Ice sends a burst of flame back towards the Major. Major Star is engulfed in flames and hurtled backwards ten feet.
Galeforce spies this opening and strikes Fire & Ice in the back with a powerful blast of wind. "Nobody attacks me!", she angrily declares.
Fire & Ice is slammed hard to his left and into the side of Horton's plaza. Before he can recover from that attack, Serena is upon him. Blessed Salvation strikes true and Fire & Ice is on the ropes, but still active.
Not too far away, Goldstar flies in and hovers over the remaining Bandito's. "Solar Flare!", she cries out, getting all of their attention. An intense blast of light comes from her body, blinding most who had been watching. The Bandito's have all been temporarily blinded.
Yu watches in shock as his new friend It goes down under Wildcat's claws. "Yu protect friend!" A long pseudo-pod is shot out from the blob's mass and touches the prone Wildcat. "She-Cat not hurt anyone!"
Inside Horton's Plaza...
Slowing down, Brian Walsh comes in for a landing. His in flight telemetry tells him that Krystyna is close by in spite of the fact that he can't actually see her. Brian lands and the thrust coming form his feet shuts down. At the same time, his enhanced senses also fade. He moves towards the last location he knew Krystyna was at and the couple is reunited.
The reunion is short lived by the approaching T-Rex. (They can't see Gargoyle from their perspective as of yet.) Brian gets the idea of leading the dinosaur back to where the Steel Squadron was. They'll know what to do about it.
Brain scoops Krystyna into his arms and is off once more. The fire under his feet returns, as do all his sensory enhancements. He also barely notices Krystyna's weight in his arms. Brian feels more physically powerful then ever before.
As they fly along, Krystyna looks ahead to where they left the Steel Squadron. Somehow the distance between herself and the Steel Squadron vanishes in her eyes. She can see each of them plainly, as if Krys was right beside them. Black Steel is lying motionlessly on the plaza ground. Green Steel appears wounded, but is moving, trying to get to his feet. Gray Steel is the closet to the couple and he seems too dumbfounded to act. Red and Blue Steel are nowhere to be found.

Serena
Serena:
Finding herself a stranger in an even stranger land, Serena is unsure what to do next. The beastly man she had been speaking to leaped away without further comment. So, she uses her innate ability to measure the worthiness of one’s soul to find the noblest person present. This leads her to the one called Major Star. She asks him what she should do next.
"I wish I knew what was going on, ma'am," the armored man states. "Regardless, we must stop anyone who is causing destruction of property and those who are endangering innocents. Capture anyone who is out of control! Such as that man!"
His words make a great deal of sense. Turning, Serena can see the man who is changing back and forth from a fire elemental to an ice elemental menacing another woman. He does seem very angry over something and could potentially cause great damage.
“Agreed. I will subdue the elemental with all do haste, this do I swear by my order!”
Once more Serena is rushing across the battlefield. The magic of her enchanted boots granting her far greater speed then a normal man could ever hope to achieve. Before Serena can reach the flaming iceman, the same woman he attacked earlier attacks him. Serena finds that to be fitting.
As she grows closer, Serena takes a good look at the man’s soul. She notices a slight taint to it that grows stronger even as she watches. Perhaps his strange transformation has driven him to the dark side.
Reaching her target, Serena swings the flat of Blessed Salvation at the fiery snowman. Her aim is true and the strange man is further wounded. Standing over Fire & Ice, Serena points her Holy Sword at him.
“Yield, stranger, for the battle is mine. I do not wish to cause you permanent injury, but I shall do so to stop your mindless rampage. What say you?”

Goldstar
Goldstar:
Having been given the strangely dressed bandits as a target by Serena, Goldstar flies in to carry out her mission. They don’t appear overly dangerous to the gold-skinned woman, in spite of the weapons they bear. The weapons are not dangerous to Goldstar herself.
Reaching a point above the men, Goldstar hovers. “Solar Flare!”, she cries out loud, attracting their attention. Looking up, the bandits are surprised to find an attractive woman in a skintight costume with glowing sparks surrounding her. That’s all they see as Goldstar generates a blinding light form her body, momentarily illuminating the area.
Seeing the bandits have been temporarily neutralized, Goldstar shouts, ”Stellar!”
Turning back towards the man part of the battle, I see the furry lizard that I had encountered before being attacked by the cat-like woman. The strange blob that Serena deemed to be an innocent tries to help the lizard. Seeing that, I realize that I too should help him out. After all, it is the duty of those who possess power to protect those weaker and those who are innocent.
Goldstar isn’t sure where that thought came from, but she doesn’t dwell on it. Flying closer, Goldstar will hover overhead and fire a Photon Blast at the cat woman. I’ll see what affect that attack has on her before moving up to a more damaging type of blast.

Dropping down to the lower level, I move between the white haired man's body and his weapon. I begin to stare at the motionless body of the white-hair man.. Through cold and lifeless eyes I begin to debate what to do with him, Deep down inside I want him to suffer as I have in recent moments, to show him what it feels like to be the victim. I raise my arms at his body expecting him to get up at any moment ready to down him again if he does. Moving closer to his body many questions appear in my mind, "How could you do this to us, To ME!?" My body begins to shake as I debate on ending his life.
From somewhere with in me a voice begins to fight back the ideas of what I so desprately want to do. "You will be no better than the likes of him if you do." Realizing what I was about to do, I quickly get control over myself and begin to concentrate on the white haired man's arms and legs.
I want to try to project ice around his arms and legs hoping to freeze them to the ground or making it very hard for him to get up and run off. If successful "I hope you rot in jail, and Dont forget to tell them Frostbite sent ya!"

Krystyna Walsh
Anxiety washes over Krystyna as she and Brian take to the air in retreat from the T-Rex. Cradled in her husband's arms, the sense of urgency focuses her thoughts on the Steel Squadron, and where the couple had last seen them. As if in response, a strange sensation overcomes Krystyna. Initially, she dismisses the odd experience as just nerves, but it continues to grow and quickly becomes unshakable. She can feel herself somehow being pulled to the Squadron members' location. Her true surroundings begin to blur and fade from Krys' view, while her mind's eye is drawn outward in search of the armored heroes. Within moments she locates the majority of them. She can see them so clearly it's as though she were standing there with them!
"Umm. Dear... I don't think they're going to be of much help. In fact, they look like they could use ours!"
"How can you know that, Krys?" Brian replies, puzzled by her words.
"I don't know. Somehow I can see them! It's like I'm right here with them... I mean right there with them... I mean, I don't know what I mean! This is so freaky! Black Steel is down. He's lying there so still... I'm afraid he might be dead. Green Steel looks hurt too but he's moving, he's struggling to get back to his feet. Gray Steel is the closest one to us, but he's just standing there, like he's oblivious to everything. I can't see Blue or Red Steel at all. That concerns me. What do we do now, hun?"

Old and Slow
"I suppose I should have expected this", Phaseflux thinks, "but until someone actually sees it it's hard to realize just how fast some metahumans are."
In the space of mere moments the entire scene is changed from his last look. The Steel Squadron is reduced, the sacrifices are gone, and the instigaters of this horror are all but gone as well.
"The only favorable condition I can see is....nothing that looks like a Nether Lord. Those people must have SNAFU'ed by the numbers."
Veiwing the results of his attack against Hellfire and noting the two handed strike by the Angry Red Man, Phaseflux will move to assist, changing size as he reaches the side of the hole to small and then moving away from the weakened edge. As he approaches the two he will shift again to normal size and increase density instead and address Red.
"Good going, Red Steel! Keep on him!" Or, if it appears Red is not in control of himself, "Red Steel! Get a grip! Your team needs you sharp! Remember your duty!" The last in the command voice of a veteren sgt.

Finding herself in this strange man-cave, the black-furred ursine attempts to find itself a temporary home, or at least shelter. It would need a nest or sorts; a pile of leather and cloth garments pulled from the nearby racks should do.
Attempting to enlarge an open area near the back corner, everything begins to grow larger around her. Her bestial mind unable to comprehend these events, she can only accept them at face value.
And then she hears it: the growl of the predator. Well, she too is a hunter, and willing to protect her new turf. A sniff brings her the scent of another animal - feline by the smell of it.
Desiring a look at the intruder, the bear rises on its hind legs. It stretches upwards in an attempt to see over the interposing barrier, striving to achieve maximum height and gain a better viewpoint from which to witness the predator's approach.

Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing how Daigon's transformation plays out in the rest of the site. Any rematch with Tigress should be most interesting!

GM Notes:
GM Notes:
Nightstalker:
Looking back to the main summoning area, most of those involved in the dark ceremony are gone. Only the white haired man in black, Affrighter, the Monster, & Hellfire are still present. Of that group, only Hellfire is active and he is currently being pounded on by Rage.
Cyrus:
I like the name Frostbite. (I did come up with potential names for some of the Mystery Powered characters. Or rather they were just possible names that came to mind. It’ll be interesting to see what names you guys come up with.)
Gordon:
Yes, the next round of Tigress and Daigon should be very interesting. By now some of you may have figured out the reasoning for some of the choices I made for this game. The month and a half a lead over the main site was to allow Malachite to carry out his experiments and allow Daigon to reach San Diego. Speaking of the game city, guess whose hometown this is? ;D

Try it and find out!
It looked at Itself and more importantly It's bleeding chest wound. It made a mental note that the tail is not a good weapon in combat against feral women. Then It looked at It's blood to see if it was the red of many or a different color entirely. The world around It was a soft haze as It was drawn into It's own little world trying to reform Itself into what It was. What a interesting sensation..the reforming of Itself. It will have to test this when not surrounded by the Lioness and Tornado.
Once the haze of the reforming cleared It looked around for any potential opponents but mostly spend the turn concentrating to see if It could close this wound over or recover Itself.
(See if he has regen, if not..rest to recover stun. Also if It has learned anything new please let me know hehe)

"Lets go bub!"
Brian Walsh
Brian is somewhat taken aback at losing his new born-senses, giving rise to the hope that maybe what's happening to them is only temporary. Those hopes are dashed against the rocks, however, when he takes to the air once more and the unusual perspective returns.
"I guess it only works when I'm air-born", he mutters to himself.
When Krys delivers her assessment of The Steel Squadron's situation Brian is dumbfounded. Thrusting his senses ahead to verify that the heroes can't be seen from their current position, he responds in shock, "How could you possibly know that?"
Recovering his wits quickly Brian will check the distance and bearing on the T-Rex, making sure it hasn't gained on them or tried anything tricky in his momentary lapse. If it has, Brian will adjust his course and/or speed appropriately. He ponders the situation for a moment before responding to his wife's explanation.
"Ok hon, if that's what you say you can see then I believe you; though I really don't know what we can do about it. Hmmm... Maybe we can turn the big guy here into an offensive advantage."
With the beginnings of a plan forming Brian will continue leading the T-Rex back to the summoning point, pouring on a little more speed in order to increase his lead (Gonna want a few seconds to assess the situation and find a safe place to drop off the wife).

It's not paranoia when they're really out to get you!
GARGOYLE
Cursing out loud, "BLASTED OVERGROWN IGUANA! HOLD STILL, WILL YA!?!", Gargoyle will continue as previously posted. Noting the lack of clearance between the top of the dinosaur's head and the concourse's ceiling Gargy will elect to substitute a move through across the beastie's jaw for bounding off its snout.
Remember not to drop back to Strength Surge +10 until after I've got Dino's attention. Also, I will attempt to avoid striking the creature in the torso at all costs. If the poor slob that thing swallowed is still alive he could probably do without getting pummeled by a brick while in the belly of the beast.
