Crucible #4 - "Uncontrolled Experiment: Part Two"
Prologue:
Life in Downtown San Diego has been turned on its collective ear. The disastrous combination of three sources of vast energy has left a wave of chaotic change in its wake. Changes that are just now being felt.
Scientists working for the master geneticist Malachite had learned about the strange white energy that exists just beyond Earth's Dimension. In key spots where the dimensional barriers were weak, this energy would seep in. Based on Malachite's calculations, such a weak spot existed in downtown San Diego. By firing a pulsating laser at a specific frequency, a momentary rip between dimensions would be opened, allowing the white energy to seep into our world.
Having examined past subjects who had been exposed to the same sort of radiation, Malachite was eager to play with this new procedure. A saucer was specifically created to carry out the experiment. Four genetically engineered embryos were created based on existing genetic data. The four were all female, for Malachite seeks to create the perfect mate. To make the one woman that he could consider his genetic equal in order to conceive the most perfect heir.
The embryos would then be inserted into specially designed Incubation Pods where they would be bathed in special biogenetic solution. Coupled with the white radiation, the four embryos would be aged to adulthood in seconds and instilled with great powers. Each would be indoctrinated to serve only Malachite and one might become his bride. The plan was foolproof.
The saucer arrived in San Diego and began the process. Then things went disastrously wrong. Some outside force acted upon the embryo in Pod #4 and it was changed to an entirely different genetic profile. The effect of this change also was felt in Pod #3 where the subject therein was subtly altered into something Malachite had not designed.
There were other unknown factors that Malachite had no way of knowing. An alliance of dark beings had also chosen Downtown San Diego to carry out their own quest for power. Using thirteen innocents as sacrifices, they planned on summing something called a Nether Lord to Earth in the hopes of gaining great power.
The demoness Devilspawn cast the incantation that would open the portal to the dimension of the Nether Lord. Instead, her magic interacted with the white energy from the rift and was twisted into a whole new configuration. A demon was summoned, but one from elsewhere on Earth!
Back at the saucer, the magic of Devilspawn's spell interfered with the remaining two pods and their occupants were altered beyond their pre-determined state. Each became more powerful, more wild, and beyond the ability of Malachite to control.
As if that was not enough, a wave of Chronal energy struck and combined with the other two energies. The resulting impact created an explosion of white energy that shot out two miles in every direction from the rift Malachite had opened.
The white energy had a wish fulfillment effect to it. Many of those affected by it were changed to match their subconscious desires. In some cases these were beneficial changes. To those with darker thoughts, it was a nightmarish transformation. The magical energy added to the wave just made the results more bizarre and unpredictable.
Lastly, the third wave twisted time/space within the two-mile bubble. The past, the present, and the future all collided and overlapped. Dinosaurs walked the street chased by twenty-second century police officers. A band of Neanderthals found themselves in a twenty-century mall. A museum from the twenty-fifth century appeared, showcasing archeological discovers that had yet to exist.
And then things seriously spiraled out of the control...

Crucible #4 - "Uncontrolled Experiment: Part Two"
Outside Horton's Plaza...
The cat-like woman from Pod #1 takes in her surroundings. She's beautiful in a feral sort of way. Orange fur with black strips covers her body completely. A large mane of brown hair emerges from her head. Her cat's eyes lock on to the band of Mexican bands firing their guns into the air.
"Guns!", the cat-woman hisses in a half-human, half-animal voice. "Hate guns!"
With that, the Wildcat leaps at the bandits with feline grace. She takes three of the bandits down to the pavement. Her razor sharp claws lash out and slash one of the bandits' throats. A spray of blood follows and the time displaced bandito dies.
Seeing this, the Silver Avenger comes closer. "Cease and desist!", Silver Avenger Gregory Rackham commands. "Stand away from those men!"
Reaching into his belt, Rackham pulls out a bolo. He swirls the weapon around his head and then lets go. The bolo spins around Wildcat, pinning the cat-woman's arms to her sides. She hisses in confusion.
Elsewhere, Daigon closes in on the Gargoyle. "You shall become the first victim of the true demoness Daigon!", the transformed mercenary declares. Daigon revels in her new body. Finally she was free of that pathetic body she used to have. Thanks to the energy of the white wave, Daigon has become the demon she always thought she was. Now the world shall feel the fury of the demoness reborn!
The Gargoyle is not impressed in the slightest. He virtually dares Daigon to strike him and the demoness is happy to oblige! Daigon slashes out with her new claws, moving far faster than Gargoyle ever expected. He tries to sidestep the attack, but is too slow. Daigon's claws slash his chest!
Much to the demoness' surprise, she fails to draw blood. The Gargoyle's gray skin is too tough to penetrate! She is momentarily stunned, but still manages to avoid an uppercut from Gargoyle that threatened to take her head off.
Directly above Pod #2, a blond hair woman hovered in the air supported by a column of twisting winds. Her hair whips wildly about her and the look of malevolence is on her face.
She watches as Wildcat leaps on the banditos and then in turn is attacked by the Silver Avenger. With Wildcat wrapped up, the Banditos turn their weapons on the cat-woman. This is more than Galeforce can bear to see.
"Leave my friend alone!", she declares and gestures dramatically towards the group. From seemingly out of nowhere, powerful winds fill the area. The banditos and the wrapped up Wildcat are blown about on the winds. The Silver Avenger manages to keep his footing and is not uprooted.
The sudden windstorm also buffets the nearby man who has been alternating between being on fire and covered with ice. He is violently tossed into the side of a building. Enraged he turns back towards Galeforce and gestures towards her. A blast of fire emerges from his icy hand, but is wide of the mark.
Not too far away, the women from Pods #3 and 4 approach the quivering blob that landed smack dab in the middle of the saucer wreckage. Yu had no idea what was going on. Just moments ago he was happily swimming along in the sewers under New York City. Then he was touched by summoning magic and drawn to this new place. Yu looked around with his numerous eyes and was very afraid.
Then a human bearing a sword spoke to him and fearlessly approached. "Ho, Demon!", she proclaimed. "How can it be that I sense innocence from you and not pure evil? Speak!"
Nearly frantic, Yu just quivered in fear. There was something about the woman that made him feel very nervous. There was an unseen aura of power about her that seemed contrary to his very being. Something poisonous to Yu and all of his kind.
"Yu no bad!", Yu tried to explain in the native tongue. A giant mouth formed on the blob to allow speech. He had heard the ugly creatures speaking many times in the past, but this was first time had tried to speak the language. "Yu like it here! Yu help protect!"
With that, Yu suddenly shot out a tentacle towards the hovering Galeforce. It caught the woman square in the back. Unexpectedly, she tumbled from the sky and the wind she had summoned to drive off the attackers of Wildcat was gone.
"No hurt innocents!", Yu said in an almost pleading voice.
While Serena considers this with Goldstar hovering close by, another being approaches the group. It is what appears to be a lizard with gold colored fur. Even stranger, his eyes are not reptilian in nature, but are like those of a cat.
"You wish demonsssssss....there issssss demonssssss", the strange looking being states. He points a short distance away where Daigon and Gargoyle are going at it.
"I sense no evil in this being either," Serena tells Goldstar in reference to the furry lizard. "But he speaks truly! There is a creature from the fiery pits present! To battle!"
Serena then starts to run as fast as she can towards Daigon. Goldstar follows and remains airborne.
With a cry of "Photon Blast!", Goldstar fires a beam of golden energy at Daigon. She hits the demoness in the back, but Daigon doesn't really notice it. Her attention is fully focused on the monstrous Gargoyle.
By this time, Serena has reached Daigon and attempts to strike her with Blessed Salvation. The Holy Blade misses the mark, but Daigon cringes in pain. Serena's mere presence is a bane to all things demonic! The same aura washes over Gargoyle and he can't help but be awed by the purity of the woman before him.
Further behind Gargoyle, Major Star pauses to catch his breath. The blasts from the saucer and the resulting collision with the pick up truck had nearly knocked him. He warily eyes another nearby man whose muscles are rippling and growing to incredible proportions. Even stranger, he is barking like a dog!
Not far past the barking man, a woman is also undergoing some transformation. Silvery wings emerge from her back and her hair changes to silver in color while her skin tone became whiter. Her eyes grow larger and become slanted. She throws her head back and lets loose with a shrilling sonic scream.
Two blocks away, the T-Rex snaps up a man who wandered too close. The dinosaur tosses the man into the air and swallows him whole. In the process of doing that, the time displaced creatures tail smashes into the side of Horton Plaza, creating a gigantic hole. Intrigued by this development, the T-Rex steps into a wide concourse in search of more prey.

Inside Horton's Plaza...
With the passing of the energy wave, the magic disguising several dark beings has been temporarily removed. Devilspawn momentarily sports a more demonic looking appearance complete with bat-like wings, horns, and glowing yellow eyes. Likewise Hellfire takes on a more diabolic appearance.
Unexpectedly, the distinguished gentlemen who had been among the sacrifices is also transformed into something far more menacing. His skin becomes black with and riddled with interlocking fissures. A fiery glow comes from between these fissures. He rises to his feet and is not happy in the slightest!
Devilspawn notes his transformation and is intrigued by this new arrival. She can now sense the power possessed by this stranger. She comes slinking over, a wide smile on her face. "Hey there handsome!", she calls out in her most seductive voice. "Who are you?"
The stranger points his fiery blade at the startled Affrighter while he speaks to Devilspawn. "Tell me, how is it that you tolerate such affront from an inferior creature?"
"Well, he is kind of a dull old goat," Devilspawn agrees. "Not a whole lot of fun at parties and a positive bore in the sack. But enough about him, lets talk about you."
"Now see here...", Affrighter starts to say, but is quickly cut off.
"Insolent low-born cur," the stranger thunders. "Learn to guard that wagging tongue when speaking to your superiors! That for which you bargain is ours by birthright! We are as far beyond you as your ilk is beyond the common sheep!"
"Oh, I like a man who talks like that," Devilspawn practically purrs. "I'm practically putty in your hands tall, dark, and handsome!"
"You dare!", Affrighter threatens in a stunned tone. "I am the son of god! I swear by the blood of Holy Azor, I shall show you who your better is! Behold the true face of fear!"
Affrighter appears to concentrate, trying to bring his power to induce fear in others into play once more. It has no visible affect upon the powerful stranger.
Suddenly, the strangers' sword lashes out, smiting Affrighter. The Blood madman is forced back several steps. Before he can regain his wits, the Denier steps in having joined the others in what had been the summoning circle.
"Cease your prattling, old fool!", the Denier declares slamming his large fist down on Affrighter head. The man in black is forced to the ground and seems dazed. "Our alliance has reached an unsatisfactory conclusion."
Satisfied that Affrighter is no longer a threat, the Denier turns back to the stranger and Devilspawn. The stranger speaks once more.
"Your pardon, the affronts of this day have been many and my patience grows thin for such vermin. My name, for the moment, is unimportant; there are many on this world who would find my presence objectionable and I am reluctant to reveal myself where prying ears may hear. I sense a kindred spirit between us, perhaps an alliance would be mutually beneficial."
"I do so love a man of action," Devilspawn coos. She moves closer to the stranger and will hold on to him unless pushed away. "An alliance is always possible. I just love to serve under a powerful man." She teasingly runs her hand along the strangers' chest.
"I am always willing to entertain offers with those of the outer planes," Denier agrees. "However, this seems not the place for such discussions."
"Perhaps it would be best to gather up your comrades and depart from this place," the stranger suggests.
"That is a most wise strategy, my lord," the Denier agrees. "Take us home, daughter."
"What about Hellfire?"
"Let the lad have his fun," Denier commands. "We can retrieve him later. Let him exhaust his bloodlust upon this rabble."
"Hang on!", Devilspawn cries out as she steps away from the stranger and begins to cast a spell. "Cause here we go!"
Upon the completion of the spell, the demonic trio is gone.
The sounds of confusion and battle rage around the area where the demonic trio had just stood. Not too far away, Hellfire and Green Steel continue to exchange claw attacks. Finally, Hellfire gains the upper hand and Green Steel is down.
Not far from there, the male sacrifice who has taken on lion features goes after the man who used to be Red Steel. A fierce rage comes over the red-skinned man and he eagerly greets his attacker.
The lion-like man, Carnivore, savagely claws the red-skinned man, but fails to draw blood. The former Red Steel, now Rage, unloads a powerful punch on the Carnivore; sending him flying backwards and into a nearby boutique. Rage then looks for someone else to pound.
The area around Andrew Knight suddenly goes jet-black and he's lost from sight. Uncontrolled blasts of energy emerge from the blackness, some damaging their target, others transforming it. Inside the darkness Andrew stares in amazement as translucent claws of bluish energy emerge from the back of his hands.
At the same time, the woman who had been Blue Steel has been obscured in a cloud of white mist. The cloud of mist overlaps some of the darkness around Andrew. Inside the cloud, Blue Steel mutters to herself. "Warmth! Need warmth..."
The strange cloud coats Andrew with frost, but other than that it has no affect on him. Not finding the warmth she needs to survive, Killer Frost moves towards the befuddled group of Neanderthals. Her frost surrounds them, draining the warmth and the life out of them. They quickly begin to die tens of thousands of years after they had vanished from the Earth.
Lily Pak, now transformed into a black bear, wanders away. Her mind unable to fully comprehend what has happened to her and confused by all the sounds and smells reaching her attempts to find a place to hide. She spots a darkened store close by. Likening it to a cave, Lily ambles inside in search of safety.
On the second floor walkway overhead, Cyrus McGregor grapples with his own transformation. His features have become icy white in appearance, as if he had been flash frozen. Experimentally, he points his hands towards a nearby pillar. To his amazement, ice issues forth and envelops the pillar.
The other woman sacrifice that had been transformed into a strange and slimy creature dissolves the floor underneath her and flees into the basement. Not able to comprehend her change, she slides away in horror. The pungent smell of her body slowly fades, as do the squishing sounds that accompany her movements.
The purple monstrosity known as Leech breaks free of the net Black Steel had thrown around it. It looks about in confusion. Its mistress had abandoned it again. Undaunted, the Leech begins to move away from the combat scene. If the mistress needs him, she will find him.
On the other side of the summoning circle, and one floor down, Phaseflux examines the two men who fell into the whole he had created. One is dead, the other is confused as he all of the sudden can speak perfect English. ('Flux, see the GM Notes added to the previous post for more details.)
A bit up the hallway, Gray Steel watches the events unfold. He stands perfectly still, as if completely dumbfounded by what he is observing.
Further along in the hallway where Brian and Krystyna Walsh had retreated, the couple picks themselves up from the floor. Flames emerge for the soles of Brian's feet, much like the thrust of a jet engine. He is pushed forward and up into the air and is rapidly accelerating.
Krys tries to run after her husband, but is in for her own shock as her body begins to fade. All the color seems to drain from her body and it takes on a translucent quality. She can barely see herself to know that she is still there, but to anyone looking in her direction she cannot be seen.

Outside Horton's Plaza...
Yu watches with relief when Serena and Goldstar move on to engage Daigon. Several eyestalks lock on to the furry lizard that sent the two women elsewhere. The lizard continues to speak: "Are you like me? Do you know what you are?"
"Yu a demon," Yu admitted. Fear was no longer so thick in his weird voice. This lizard creature's appearance was more to his liking. "But Yu not like others! Yu protect!"
The lizard spoke once more: "Demonssssss do not fear. I know not why but I know thisssssss. Do you need help to hide?"
"Yu no go home! Terrible place. Hide? Yes, must hide! Sewers! No, Yu protect innocents! Yu help! Yu stay? Yu friend?" A trio of eyestalks all look at the lizard waiting on his reply.
Nearby, Wildcat strains against the bolo holding her prisoner. Her claws slash through the bolo and it falls to the ground in pieces. She looks around trying to figure out what she's going to do next.
Silver Avenger Rackham rushes in and tries to punch Wildcat, but is wide of the mark. The Wildcat leaps away from the blow and lands close to the ground Galeforce. "You no harm friend!", Wildcat declares with her claws bared.
Behind Wildcat, Galeforce's body shimmers and becomes translucent. This occurs just in time as a ram of ice emerged from Fire & Ice's flaming hand. The ice ram passes harmlessly through Galeforce's body.
Daigon spins and lashes out at Serena with her claws. The attack leaves wide slash marks in Serena's tabard, but her enchanted chain mail protects her from harm.
Goldstar hovers close by and with the cry of "Ion Blast!", fires again at Daigon. She connects once more and this time the demoness feels pain. Daigon is flung backwards nearly twenty feet before hitting the concrete.
Serena runs after the downed demoness and strikes her once more with Blessed Salvation. Daigon screams in pain as the Holy Weapon burns her to the pit of black soul. The demoness then collapses to the pavement unconscious.
Inside Horton's Plaza...
A rack of clothing goes flying as the Carnivore comes to his senses after the flight Rage had sent him on. He leaps from the boutique he had been inside. Landing before the store, he scans the battle site, looking for someone to maul.
Having seemingly dispatched Green Steel, Hellfire looks around for some fresh meat to carve. "Slice and dice!", the demonic looking man chants. Reddish energy boils and bubbles inside his translucent body. Spying Rage, Hellfire leaps in and stabs the large red skinned man in the back, but fails to draw blood.
Affrighter rises to his feet once more, cursing his former allies. "Someone will pay for this disaster", he angrily declares. With his handheld scythe in hand, Affrighter looks around deciding whom to draw blood from. The befuddled looking man in the blue jumpsuit who simply appeared out of nowhere seems like a good target.
Further away in the Plaza, Brian Walsh has gained some measure of control over his unexpected takeoff. His experience as a fighter pilot kicks in and he quickly gains control. It turns out to be even easier to flying a plane. All he needs do is think what he wants to do and his body responds.
As he flies along he notices that his eyesight has greatly improved. Not only can he see much further then before but also his level of detail has increased. And that's not all. A totally new sense is felt. He becomes aware of everything in his immediate vicinity. The distance between himself and the floor, the ceiling, that statue he is approaching are all instantly known, making his flight even easier to manage.
Unexpectedly, the far wall shatters and what appears to be giant tail swings in. A moment later, the head of a Tyrannosaurus Rex looks into the Plaza concourse. It spots the flying Brian and decides that he'll make a good meal.
Brian banks, avoiding the dinosaur and goes into a tight turn. He pulls away from the T-Rex and once at a safe distance slows down to avoid any further impacts. As he flies along he attempts to locate Krystyna but she is nowhere to be seen. While his eyes fail him, his strange radar-like sense does not. He notices the outline of a woman on the floor below him, but cannot see anything there!
From Krystyna's point of view, Brian has come flying back with a giant dinosaur following a fair distance behind him. This time he is much more in control of his flight. He slows as he approaches and seems to be aware of your location, although you remain invisible.
Epilogue:
High in Earth orbit a small probe of alien origin shimmers into existence. It has remained concealed for nearly ten years now, waiting and watching the world below. At long last it has detected what it was dispatched to find. A hyperspace signal is transmitted to its point of origin. The probe then shimmers back into nothing, leaving only empty space. The creators of the probe will be coming...

GM Notes:
With this post we've entered into combat, so actions were occurring based on your speed. The first and largest sections of the post covered the Phase 12 actions, while the second and smaller sections covered Phase 2. So, those who go on Phase 3 are next. If your character did not perform all the actions that you had posted last time, it was because of this. I didn't want to get too far ahead for some people, and behind on others.
Here's a crude map of the placement of individuals outside Horton Plaza. It is NOT to scale.

Further to the right of Phaseflux, and off the screen is Gray Steel. Past Gray Steel is Krystyna, Brian, and about seventy feet away from them is the hungry T-Rex.
There, that should keep everyone busy!
Also, there are several new pics in the Gallery page in the Handbook section to check out. Among the new pictures are Gargoyle and Nightstalker, as rendered by their respective players. Also in the hero section is Goldstar. Down in the villain’s section there are pics of Affrighter, Dark Seraph, Hellfire, and Leech.

Serena
Serena
Satisfied that the demoness has been defeated, but puzzled as to why it has not been returned to its hellish home, Serena moves back towards Gargoyle. She has seen creatures that superficially resemble this one. But given how strange this place is, she cannot be sure if her assessment is correct or not.
"Are you injured troll?," she inquires of Gargoyle.
If he is uninjured, Serena will scan the battlefield attempt to locate the most evil target to engage in battle next. Or should an innocent being in danger, she will rush to defend them. Should there be none, Serena will then help the wounded and the injured, focusing her efforts on those who appear in the worst shape using her magic to restore their health.

Gargoyle
"CUT IT OUT LADY! THAT TICKLES!!", Gargoyle bellows, mocking Diagon's vaunted power.
"WHEN ARE CLAWED CREEPS LIKE YOU GONNA LEARN!?! THOSE PIG STICKERS MIGHT SCARE YER AVERAGE BOY SCOUT TROOP INTA SOILIN' THEIR SHORTS, BUT TO 'ME' YER A JOKE!!!"
Gargy mutters a few choice obscenities under his breath when his own attack misses it's mark. His anger has been building steadily, and has been denied every attempt at release. As he draws his arm back for another swing, two more combatants enter the frey. Becoming indignant, Gargoyle roars:
"NOW HOLD ON JUST A DARN SECOND HERE!! THIS IS MY DANCE AND I DON'T RECALL INVITING.... You"
Gargy's words lump in his throat, awed by Serena's air of majesty. By the time he shakes the effects Diagon lays defeated at the woman warrior's feet. When she returns and speaks to him, Gargoyle finds himself in an uncomfortable position; caught between her palpable purity and his own frustration fueled fury.
"TROLL?!? I MAY NOT BE ANY PRIZE TO WRITE HOME ABOUT LADY, BUT THAT'S HARDLY CALL FOR INSULTS! I... FORGET IT... I'M FINE!"
Somewhat abashed, Gargoyle turns toward Rackham and Major Star.
"I'LL BE PLAYIN' WITH THE "LAND OF THE LOST" REJECT IF YA NEED ME!!", he shouts jerking a thumb in the direction the T-Rex went. Not waiting for a response he bounds off after the dinosaur.

Goldstar
The gold-skinned woman is content to hover and follow Serena around. She seems so nice! Goldstar is sure what to make of the smelly blob or the furry lizard thing, but Serena seems to think that they are not a foe and that’s good enough for me!
But this nasty looking Daigon thing—- now that’s a foe! Following Serena’s lead, I send a Photon Blast towards Daigon. That seems inadequate to deal with Daigon, so I follow that up with an Ion Blast. That does the trick and Serena finishes the demoness off.
That leaves me hovering there before the gray-skinned Gargoyle. I can’t help but stare, wondering just what the heck he is! Of course, he’s just one of many unusual things to look at around here. Unsure what to do next, I simply wave to Gargoyle and say, “Hi there! I’m Goldstar!”
Serena returns and speaks to Gargoyle. Then Gargoyle bounds away. I watch him depart before turning back towards Serena.
“Not very friendly is he? What should I do next?”
Looking around for whom to assist next, I can’t help but notice the gang of men with the guns. Nasty looking bunch they are. I’ll fly over towards them unless Serena directs otherwise. Once close enough hit them with a Solar Flare and then pick them off with Photon Blasts. Should someone more powerful attack me, I’ll concentrate on them instead.

Serena's assistance to Gargoyle does not go unnoticed. "NOW HOLD ON JUST A DARN SECOND HERE!! THIS IS MY DANCE AND I DON'T RECALL INVITING", he bellows. Upon seeing Serena, he lowers his tone considerably and adds, "You".
"No need to thank me," Serena comments as she chases after Daigon. "Always a pleasure to serve."
Once the demoness is down, Serena returns to Gargoyle. He's back to his normal state. "TROLL?!? I MAY NOT BE ANY PRIZE TO WRITE HOME ABOUT LADY, BUT THAT'S HARDLY CALL FOR INSULTS! I... FORGET IT... I'M FINE!"
"My humble apologies, noble sir," Serena smoothly explains. "From where I came from your appearance reminded me of a troll. I meant no insult."
Gargoyle leaps away after a foe to bash in, leaving Serena to contemplate her next move. Scanning the immediate battlefield, she finds no offensively evil beings. Not everyone present is of noble stock, but no outright malevolence.
Goldstar's ask her question about Gargoyle while Serena is looking around. "Not very friendly is he? What should I do next?" Serena suggests the Mexican banditos might be a good target for the heroine.
Having scanned all those present, Serena concludes that the one called Major Star has the noblest spirit of those present. The swordswoman moves to his side. "Are you in charge here?", Serena calls out. "Can you tell me what is going on?"

Down among the dead men.
Addressing the man down here with him in Spanish and getting a response, 'Flux is surprised when he switches to English in mid-sentence.
"You mean you didn't speak English before now? I thought you were bilingual! Do you feel any other languages coming on sir?"
Glancing over to the prone Monster, the dead man, and up at the large hole in the Plaza walkway 'Flux says "Time to leave the area now sir. It's not safe here right now."
Grabbing the Monster up, he escorts the uninjured man to the nearest exit door. As he is about to leave 'Flux askes him his name. "Take care of yourself sir. And if it turns out you have the gift of tongues-be thankful. It could have been much worse."
Now I'd better get back up there Phaseflux thinks. Things were going strange just before I dropped down and there's still a "Nether Lord" on the way. And I could swear I saw a....bear?
Walk back to the open space under the ground. Expand to full size for a better look at things. Throw Monster at reasonable target. (Affrighter, Hellfire, Carnivore, ect.) If that is not feasable, throw Monster to ground and assist the fallen. (Black or Green Steel.)

Bruce....Superhero of San Diego
A wide smile begins to form across my icy white features as I stare awestruck at the ice encased pillar. "Did I do that?!?" I say in astonishment to myself. I begin to wonder what other suprises my new form has in store for me.
Moving to the railway of the walkway, I survey the ongoing madness below me. Notcing in particluar an elderlyman with a curved blade begin to advance on a man in a blue jumpsuit. Realizing What he intends to do, I begin to try to lower the tempeture around me a lil bit. Ill fire a cold blast at him than drop down to the lower level.

"We help Yu. I am.."
At this It just shrugs It's furry shoulders and points toward where Galeforce, Wildcat and the Banditos are at.
"We musssst defeat them. I will take care of the cat..you take care of the gun holding ones"
At this It makes It's way toward Wildcat either by leaping if it works or walking/running. Once It gets there It goes for a nice tail sweep to knock it off of its feet, using the tail as a club.

Lily Pak
Too much chaos, too much light and noise, too many humans. Lily retreats, seeking a place of safety. Finding an opening she sticks her head in and sniffs. Still too much light, and this cave reeks of humans.
Padding along nearly silently on fur-padded paws, Lily encounters another cave. This one is darker, though the stench is no less. The scent of blood catches her attention, though she's not hungry right now.
Lumbering inside, she shambles in the direction of the darkest corner. There are odd objects and partial walls making for strangely-angular and sometimes too-narrow passages. Still, with a shrug of her powerful shoulders or a swipe of her paw, she is able to make sufficient room to squeeze by.
Were Lily's mind operating at full awareness, she would recognise this as a trendy teen skateboard and clothing store. Small amounts of wood and leather can be smelled among all the plastic, metal and other man-made materials, thus giving the bear some small-yet-comforting point of reference.

GARGOYLE
If able to close on the dinosaur Gargoyle will attempt to break its stride by impacting feet first into its nose and bounding off (Any chance on getting that ruled as a move-through?
)
Provided he succeeds in getting the critter's attention, Gargy bellows up at it: (Drop Strength Surge to +10, adrenal burnout while being eaten by a dinosaur isn't my idea of a pleasant day at the mall!
)
"YO!! GODZILLA!! I THINK YOU GOT SOMETHIN' IN YER GULLET THAT DON'T BELONG TO YOU!! COUGH IT UP, OR AM I GONNA HAVE TO GET NASTY!?!?!"
Gargoyle will be very animated in his articulation, making himself an obvious target. If Dino's instinct to feed prevails as the grey skinned brute hopes, Gargy will leap right into the beastie's mouth as it comes for him; snickering in pleasure, "HEH HE!!". Throwing his body rigid, and using his arms to brace as the creature tries to swallow, Gargoyle will attempt to wedge himself in the back of the creatures throat, waiting to see if Dino has a gag-reflex. If after a few seconds it doesn't seem like it's likely to vomit out it victim, Gargy will have to try a more direct approach.
"OH WELL! DOWN THE HATCH.... GERONIMO!!!"

Krystyna Walsh
Krystyna manages to rise to her feet, shaking off the bewilderment of her recent ordeal. She knows her first priority is to find Brian and to make sure he is alright, before she can even begin to contemplate what has happened to them.
As she tries to focus her thoughts on which direction her husband's involuntary flight had taken him, a sudden bloodcurdling wail catches Krys' ear. It sounds as if someone had released a rabid lion into the Plaza, and its massive roar alone would shake the building down to its very foundations.
"What was that?!" she thinks to herself aloud. "It almost sounded like... No, that would be impossible! Maybe it's Brian still having trouble with crashing into things.", but before Krys can venture off in the direction the noise had emanated from, a familiar figure comes back into view and flies toward her. Peering down the hallway, she recognizes it immediately. "It's Brian! Brian, over here!" she calls out to him, jumping around and waving her arms wildly in the air. "I'm down here!"
At first it appears as if Brian is unable to see her in her translucent state. She watches him helplessly as he scans the area frantically, calling out her name, "Krystyna! Where are you?!" Then suddenly, it seems as if he can somehow sense where she is standing, as he heads straight to her.
Krys watches her husband as he begins to descend with significantly more control than he had before. Once he reaches the floor, Brian takes a brief moment to subdue his powers then gently lands in front of her. "Can you see me?" Krys asks curiously.
"No, I can't..." he replies as he blindly reaches out to touch Krystyna tenderly, "...but I can still somehow sense where you are, my love."
The two of them embrace one another with a hug so close it melds them together in all but body. Slowly, Krys's translucent flesh becomes solid again in the safety of Brian's arms. She chokes her emotions down long enough to speak. "I was so scared that something had happened to...." Her voice then trails off as she raises her eyes, glancing down the hallway her husband came from. "Um..." she stammers, her gaze seemingly fixed on something behind Brian. A look of shock and disbelief instantly spreads across her face. "Is that what I think it is??!" she shrieks, her voice now shaking slightly and her eyes widened. Krystyna points trembling at the T-Rex that is heading in their direction. The ground shaking louder and louder beneath its feet with every ominous step.
The tyrant lizard king of old quickly closes the distance between the couple and itself. Horrified, Krys cries out, "Run!" but before she can make a break for the nearest exit Brian grabs her by the wrist. "Wait! I've got a better idea," he replies confidently before lifting his wife into his arms and flying back in the direction they originally came from, "I'm going to lure that monstrosity back to the Steel Squadron. They'll know what to do!"

Brian Walsh
Brian lands next to the invisible form. Squinting while moving closer he whispers, "Krys?? What the h**l is happening?!", still unable to visually verify what his new-born senses insist is there. When asked if he can see her, Brian responds:
"Not exactly... somehow I can sense you're location; I can sense everything around me, like some kind of telemetry wired directly into my brain. It's like I've been turned into a living Jet-Fighter."
He's nearly bowled over when Krystyna rushes into his arms, allowing this new sense to over-ride what he can see is going to take some getting used to, but Brian returns her embrace gratefully. Hearing the thunderous footsteps approaching, Brain carefully gauges how far away the T-Rex is and its rate of movement. When Krystyna backs out of his grasp Brian breathes a sigh of relief, he can see her again.
"Sure does look like it! Came through a wall at me, it seems to think I'd make a tasty snack."
"Run!", Krystyna yells as she tries to yank Brian into motion. Brain however pulls her back to him, imploring her to hear him with the firmness of his grip.
"Wait! We can't risk leading it out into a public street... Hop on, I'm going to try to lure that thing back to the Steel Squadron, they'll know what to do."
Lifting his wife gently in his arms, Brian will wait until she has her arms securely around his neck. With a shout of, "Hang on!", Brian once again soars skyward, doubling back to where he presumes the Steel Squadron is battling that group of super villains. Brain won't fly so fast as to endanger his wife, or lose his pursuer, but will stay well away from it's very hungry looking jaws.

It's not paranoia when they're really out to get you!
"You forget your place, child of Azor; you and your kind have lived too long with naught but inferiors to fill your heads with arrogant pride. Your 'Holy God' bent his knee to being such as we, you would do well to remember that."
At Devilspawn's approach the demonic stranger tenses somewhat, uncomfortable with her insinuations, but reluctant to alienate a potential allie. When she begins stroking his chest however, he takes her by the wrist and removes her hand from his person. His grip is firm, but he is careful not to convey any miscommunication in his manner.
"Understand that I mean no insult, but this was not the alliance of my intent; what you offer carries a price I can not pay."
When Devilspawn steps away to cast her spell, the stranger prepares to depart (assuming there is no altercation over his rejection of her advances) gesturing and invoking words of power.
