Inside the saucer...
"The vortex is opening, just as the Master predicted! There is a weak point between dimensions at this very spot!"
"Radiation is pouring through the rift. Energy readings are above projected levels! This is astounding!"
"Radiation collectors online. Channeling energy to the Incubation Pods."
"Radiation shielding?"
"Holding, but weakening. We should have enough time to complete our task before lethal levels are reached."
"Embryo growth is accelerating, going even faster than the Master calculated. The subjects have already reached adult form!"
"Begin instruction program."
"Program started."
"We've got company."
The Commander of the saucer spun in his seat and gazed at one of the many view screens inside the craft. One showed a trio of superpowered individuals rapidly approaching. This would not do.
"Activate ship weaponry. Fire at will." Turning to his left, the Commander added, "Daigon, you're assistance is required."
Daigon just grunted her understanding and departed the command center. The self-style demoness wore her usual red and gold armor that completely concealed her gender. Perhaps this time her service for Malachite would gain her the reward she so desperately desired.
Outside the saucer...
The suction force from the rift in the sky continues to grow stronger. At the same time, a whitish energy is pouring through the rift, seemingly ignoring the suction effect. The hole continued to grow larger.
Panels along the sides of the saucer slide open revealing gun ports. A split second later, they open fire, sending beams of energy towards the advancing heroes!
Gargoyle is struck twice in mid-leap and sent sprawling backwards. Fifteen feet later, he lands back first on top of a compact car, completely crushing it.
The large man's associates are not spared either. Each is targeted with a pair of energy blasts, but only half of the attacks find the mark. Major Star, also airborne, is flung back over forty feet and crashes head first into the rear of a pick up truck. The patriotic hero shakily rises to his feet once more.
Elsewhere, Silver Avenger Gregory Rackham sidesteps the first blast but is hit by the second. He is sent backwards and into the side of a building. Undaunted, he pulls himself free and continues to rush the saucer.
On his feet once more, Gargoyle looks towards the saucer, wondering what new surprises might be coming his way. There is now an armored figure standing on top of the saucer wearing creepy looking red and gold armor. The figure speaks in a female sounding voice.
"Who will be the first to test the battle skills of the demoness Daigon?", she inquires.

Inside Horton's Plaza, inside the summoning circle...
Inside the expansive Horton's Plaza, the situation isn't much better. A group of thirteen individuals have found themselves trapped within a force field. Along with them are the erotic Devilspawn and the just plain creepy Affrighter.
Devilspawn has completed her spell and Affrighter gloats that the Nether Lord is coming! A fierce wind fills the area within the force field and a reddish glow forms on the ground at the center of the mystic circle Devilspawn grew. The light grows more intense and the captives can feel it pulling them towards it.
Lily, and most of the other captives, tries desperately to get away but cannot get through the force field. Only the distinguished gentleman with the cane appears to be calm. Its as if he is just watching what is going on with some minor amusement.
Then this strange situation takes an unexpected turn. The wind dies down and the pulling effect from the glow ceases. A look of confusion comes to Devilspawn's otherwise flawless features. "Something's wrong! My spell is going awry!"
"What did you do, you witch," Affrighter demands, anger coming over the man in black. "I'll kill you if you screwed this up!"
"Something has taken control of the spell- twisting it to new parameters! I don't know what's going to happen! I don't know what's going to come through the portal!" With an anxious look on her face, Devilspawn looks back towards the throbbing glow of energy. "Whatever is happening is happening now!"
Inside Horton's Plaza, outside the Summoning Circle...
Outside the Summoning Circle and inside the vast courtyard things are looking up. The Steel Squadron has arrived on the scene! A blast of energy from Gray Steel has sent Hellfire flying away.
Using that distraction to his advantage, Brian Walsh slips away from the battle site and takes Krystyna by the hand. Together they rush to get away from the raging conflict behind them.
On a balcony overlooking the plaza, Cyrus McGregor continues to observe the goings on. So far no one has gotten too close to him. Feeling that he's safe enough where he is, Cyrus maintains his position.
Much to Phaseflux's surprise, the Monster turns away from him to watch the approaching Steel Squadron. Using this opening to his advantage, Phaseflux begins to grow and become denser at the same time. He lands a powerful jab underneath the jaw of the Monster, sending the creepy creature flying backwards nearly thirty feet.
"Paws off gruesome", he says while expanding to full size, "and take a seat!”
Phaseflux ceases to grow, toping out at nearly thirty-eight feet in height! His feet sink in the plaza's floor, but so far show no signs of going through.
Not too far away, the Monster rises from his unexpected flight and freaks out! With the screech of "HRUNNHHH!!", the Monster rises to his feet and rushes back towards the now giant size Phaseflux. Upon reaching his foe, he claws at the giant man's calves! Phaseflux is hit and the Monster draws blood.
None too pleased by that; Phaseflux sends his giant sized fist straight down towards the Monster. He solidly connects with a blow that shakes the immediate vicinity! The Monster is driven into and through the floor like a tent peg. He disappears into the basement underneath the plaza and is out cold.
The ground underneath Phaseflux's feet groans in protest from the great weight it is now currently supporting. A moment later it simply gives away and Phaseflux's feet join the Monster in the basement. A wide section of the floor around them tumbles down as well.
"Good work, my giant size friend", Black Steel calls out as he flies past. "Lets just hope that the rest of these miscreants can be rounded up as easily. "Blue, we need a rescue over here!"
Black Steel points to Andrew who is walking towards the Denier and Leech pretending that he is blind. Black Steel himself slows and hovers. Then he fires what appears to be a large projectile towards Leech. It expands upon contact with the purplish villain, becoming a net that wraps around the criminal. Arcs of energy flash about the net, subduing Leech.
Elsewhere, Green Steel is going at Hellfire with his metallic talons. Green Steel slashes Hellfire, causing the bubbling reddish energy inside the strange man to spill out. Hellfire responds in kind, his glowing red claws piercing Green Steel's armor.
Blue Steel comes skating forward at high velocity. She acknowledges Black Steels command and streaks toward Andrew intent on saving him from the monsters. Blue succeeds and picks up Andrew with her armor-enhanced strength. She proceeds to propel them both further away from the conflict in spite of his protests.
Meanwhile, Red Steel has reached the force field and begins to pound on it with his armored might. The strong man of the Steel Squad lands blow after blow on the force field, but it continues to resist. Rage comes over Red Steel and he shouts profanity after profanity as he tries to bring down the force field. With each failure, his rage grows more intense...

Inside the Saucer...
Those in the command center of the saucer are torn between watching Malachite's experiment unfold and the battle going on outside the craft. However, a series of alarms attracts all of their attention.
"What is happening?" the Commander cries out.
"Total failure in pod #4. Subject is being reconfigured by some outside force! All contact has been lost with the pod."
"Partial failure in pod #3. Pod subject is being influenced by whatever is happening to pod #4! Subject is being changed beyond our specifications!"
"How is this possible?"
"A second form of energy is impacting upon the rift radiation. Correction, a third unknown type of energy has been detected! It appears chronal in origin!"
"All subjects are being changed by the combined energy waves! We have lost control! All pods are malfunctioning!"
"Energy readings are off the charts. This is bad... Very bad!"
Outside the saucer...
As the heroes pick themselves back up, they look back towards the saucer and spot Daigon. The armored villainess shouts her challenge to the would be defenders of San Diego. Each begins to advance once more when they all notice something very strange in the sky.
The rift above the saucer is strangely pulsating, as if something they cannot see is interacting with the odd energy. In the span of a few seconds, the rift grows and contracts. The pulsation reminds them of the rapid beating of heart.
Then the rift grows smaller in size and seems to hold there. Everything is deafly silent and many are seemingly mesmerized by the pulsations of the rift. Its as if the world is holding its collective breath.
And then the rift explodes outwards in a dazzling display of energy and light. A wall of whitish energy is flung out in every direction from the rift moving almost faster than the eye can follow. Anyone impacted by the wave is thrown backwards and knocked to the ground. Seen from far above, it appears as if a giant while globe has just enveloped downtown San Diego!
The globe of energy continues to expand in every direction until it reaches a radius of four miles. Then it simply fades away into nothingness, the energy of the wave spent. But the effects of its passing are just beginning to be felt!
The rift in the sky is gone. Energy arcs along the saucer underneath the rift. The radiation collectors were still turned on during the White Event, channeling more and more power to the incubation pods. Far more energy then the saucer could ever hold pours into the craft. Predictably, the saucer explodes underneath the strain of trying to control these vast energies.
Daigon, now down on the street after being flung there by the energy wave, is thrown back once more with the explosion of the saucer. She impacts with the concrete near Gargoyle's feet. The villainess screams in what sounds like agony and rolls around uncontrollably on the ground.
Numerous screams now fill the air with the passage of the energy wave. Everyone was affected differently by the White Event. Some on the street simply fall to the ground and die from the effects. Still many others appear to not have suffered any ill effects from the energy wave. While still others are mysteriously change. Gargoyle can only stand there and watch in wide-eyed wonder at the chaos around him.
Flames envelope a nearby man, quickly followed by a wave of ice. He stands there trying to comprehend what is going on as his body alternates between being on fire and being covered in ice.
Not too far away, silvery wings emerge from the back of another woman. Another man shred his clothes as his muscles bulge to unbelievable proportions. All the while he howls like a dog.
The four pods from the exploded saucer were all safely flung away from the craft and remain intact. The two closest to the heroes rock back and forth and move violently, as if what's inside is desperately trying to get out.
Suddenly, razor sharp claws slashes through the opaque glass top and a wild looking figure emerges. It's a woman with long dark brown hair. What is most unique is that her skin covered by orange fur with black stripes. Her eyes have cat shaped iris and she looks around as if hunting for prey.
The cover to the near by pod is thrown upwards by some force exerted inside the pod. A miniature whirlwind swirls about the pod and a lovely blond haired woman rises into the air. Her hair is blown wildly about by the raging winds seemingly at her command. The look of madness covers her face.
Not too far away from the unusual pod women, a pile of wreckage from the saucer shifts and something emerges. What is exactly is hard to say. The creature appears to be lizard like in appearance, complete with scaly skin, tail and claws, but what is even stranger is that this lizard has gold colored fur!
On the other side of the wreckage from the saucer, the occupants of the other two pods emerged in violent displays of power. A golden beam of energy shatters one pod and a beautiful woman with long blonde hair and golden skin in a mostly red costume flies out. What is most remarkable about her are the bubbles of energy that flutter around the woman, reminding the viewer of fireflies on a dark night.
A sword thrust shatters the remaining pod. Wearily, a brown haired woman wearing what appears to be medieval chain mail covered by a white tabard emerges. She wields a beautiful gem-encrusted sword in her one hand. The woman looks at what is going on around here with confusion etched on her flawless feature.
"What wizardry is this?", she mumbles in astonishment.
Not too far away from the swordswoman, there is a plopping sound as if a large body of liquid had just hit something solid. Looking in that direction, you can see a large blob in the middle of the saucer wreckage. The creature was formless in shape, with a multitude of tentacles and eyestalks emerging from it. As hideous as it was to behold, the smell it gave off was even worse. The blob shivered, as if in fear. It too had no idea just what was going on here!
But that is not all that is happening. The bus station where the saucer had landed in front of shimmers and then disappears. In its place is a grassy meadow. Its as if the bus station had never been built.
The Museum of Contemporary Art, no more than a block away, also shimmers and then changes into something very futuristic. A large banner hangs above the entryway, promising that visitors will witness the "Archeological discovery of the Twenty-Fifth Century!"
A few other buildings are mysteriously changed, but not all of them. Some appear to not have any after affects from the mysterious White Event.
But even those are not all of the strange happenings. A group of what appears to be Mexican Banditos appears out of nowhere. Each wears an oversize hat, carries pistols or rifles with belts of ammo crisscrossing their chest. Their leader has a large handlebar mustache. These new arrivals seem just as confused about what is going on as everyone else does. They liberally fire their weapons into the air.
High overhead, a San Diego Police cruiser flies by, its siren wailing. Instead of wheels, the car has vertical thrusters to keep it airborne. The cause for alarm quickly becomes apparent as a few blocks away a loud roar attracts Gargoyles attention. What appears to be a T-Rex is stomping down the street!
The screaming at Gargoyle's feet grows more intense, forcing him to look down once more. The seams of Daigon's armor burst open as if what was inside had grown larger than the armor. The armor finally splits and what is inside emerges as if from a cocoon.
The woman inside the armor has been transformed by the energy wave. Her skin is reptilian in nature and dark red in color. Large claws are at the end of her hands and feet. Pair of twisted horns emerges from her head. They are golden in color.
Daigon pauses to regard her new form in a combination of awe and astonishment. She glances upward and sees the midday sun high in the sky. For the first time in her life it doesn't burn.
Then she notices Gargoyle standing there. "You!", she says in a guttural voice. "You shall become the first victim of the true demoness Daigon!" Claws out, she moves to attack!

Inside Horton's Plaza...
The wave of white energy plows through the plaza and is not stopped by anything. The force field surrounding the summoning circle winks out upon contact with the wave. Those inside the circle are not spared the effect of the strange white energy. Much like what is going on outside, and across much of San Diego, strange changes abound!
Much to Lily Pak' surprise, the force field she was trying to claw her way through vanishes before her. Before she can comprehend what just happened, the white wave hit her and she is transformed. Dark fur begins to grow on her arms and body. Her nails become claws as Lily is changed into a bear! She growls in confusion about what is happening to her.
Affrighter and Devilspawn pick themselves up off the floor. The man in black looks the same as he did before. Devilspawn can't say the same. She's still the same voluptuous blond in a skimpy costume, but now she's sporting bat-like wings, small horns, and her eyes glow a sickly yellow.
"Like gross!", Devilspawn complains and her form shifts back to what it had been. She continues to observe the glow in the center of the circle. "Something is coming through! I hope its something good and tasty!" She punctures this statement by licking her lips.
With the force field gone, the other sacrifices all scatter. A few fall into the hole Phaseflux created and drop down to the lower level of the plaza.
One of the other sacrifices, a woman, screams in agony. Her legs withered and merged to form a tail. A noxious slime covers her body and drips off. The smell is quite disgusting. Squishing sounds are audible as she moves.
One of the male sacrifices lets out a roar. A mane of sandy blonde hair grows around his head. His nails and teeth are changed into claws and fangs. His eyes become catlike and solid yellow in color. He sniffs the air looking for prey like some jungle cat.
The distinguished looking gentleman didn't join in on the frenzy to escape. But when the strange wave hit him, he too was force to the floor. There his form also strangely shifts into something not quite human. His skin becomes pitch black and is riddled with interlocking fissures that glow with a fiery red radiance. His eyes glow fiery red and he now sports a pair of horns. The man's clothes have also been transformed into an impressive suit of battle armor made of some ebony metal with gold and red trim. The transformed man wears a cloak of royal purple in color. He bears in his hand a flaming longsword. He seems as startled by this change as everyone else is.
Devilspawn notes this and comes slinking over, a wide smile on her face. "Hey there handsome! Who are you?"
A short distance away, Andrew Knight tries to explain to Blue Steel just what he was trying to do when the wave hits them. They are separate and go to the floor. Strange energy pulsates around Andrew's body and his skin turns jet black in color.
Close by, Blue Steel is affected as well. Frost begins to cover her armor and the entire area around her grows colder and colder. Finally, the metal shatters under the pressure and the transformed Blue Steel is revealed. A thick layer of frost covers the woman's body and her eyes glow blue. A white mist begins to gather around her as well.
Overhead, Black Steel falls from the sky and crashes to the ground with a loud thud. He does not stir.
Phaseflux feels a momentary flash of pain when the wave hits him. He feels disorientated and shrinks back to normal size. The feeling passes and he's back in control a few moments later. He now finds himself in basement of Horton Plaza with the unconscious Monster and a few normal people.
Two levels above that, Cyrus McGregor is undergoing a change as well. While lying on the floor, frost begins to form all around him. His skin becomes icy white in color and he seems to radiate cold. In spite of the change, even his hair has turned white, he feels better than ever. Stronger and faster.
Green Steel observes the strange goings on around him. He is unaffected by the wave and is back on his feet. Hellfire is close by and his form also changes. Much like what happened to Devilspawn, Hellfire grows demonic looking wings, horns, and a tail. Once back in control of himself, Hellfire wills them away and continues to attack Green Steel savagely.
Red Steel nearly falls flat on his armored face once the force field he had been pounding on ceases to exist. The energy wave strikes him and he cries out in pain. His armor ripples and bulges as his body is transformed. Portions of the armor fly off from the pressure. The rest, the man inside grabs and violently rips off.
The man who had been Red Steel now stands a solid six foot eight in height and is ridiculously muscular. His skin now has a reddish tinge to it, as if he was badly sunburned. Even his hair and eyes are reddish. Muscles bulging, he lets loose with a primordial scream of anger and rage. He stands, looking for something or someone to pummel. He spots the lion-like man and rushes him.
Far away from the battle zone, Brian and Krystyna Walsh pick themselves up off of the floor. Both of the young couple feels very strange. Brian's feet feel as if they are on fire, but there is no pain. Looking down, he can see something burning through the bottom of his shoes!
Suddenly, Brian feels himself moving, propelled by whatever is coming from the bottom of his feet. By now his shoes have been destroyed and Brian is being pushed into the air by the force of what is coming out of the bottom of his feet. He is flying forward down the plaza hallway out of control!
Krystyna sits up, not being able to comprehend any of this. Then she simply fades from sight.
Back near the Summoning Circle, a group of primitive humans wearing animal skins and bearing crude spears appear. They grunt their confusion over this extremely bizarre happening as they fearfully look around. A few pound the butts of their spears on the floor, while others point them out fearfully.
On one of the walkways overhead, a man and a woman appear wearing futuristic clothing. They look over the railing at the chaos down below. "Must be a play or something," the man guesses.
"Live theater?", the woman questions with disdain in her voice. "That's so twenty-second century." The pair then departs the area.
And finally, back in the center of the Summoning Circle, the energy glow fades in a flash and something is standing there. It is a man who stands about five foot four inches in height with dark black scraggly hair, brown eyes, and a sharp pointed chin and a long thin noise. He is rail thin and wears a blue jumpsuit with lots of pockets.
He looks about in complete confusion. "Can I supersize that?", he innocently inquires.

GM Notes:
PHEW!! If anyone had any doubts as to why I took the name GM Mad, they should be erased after that post! This is probably the most complex post I've ever done.
Lots and lots going on here and all over San Diego.
Feel free to ask any questions about the strange transformations you've undergone by E-mail. I know I was vague in some instances, but those are your first impressions of the changes you've undergone.
Nightstalker, I figured you could handle your transformation sequence better than I, so I just did the basic info on yours.
Krystyna, you're still there, but are invisible.
Most of the new players should recognize their characters. Weapon X, you're the furry lizard from the saucer wreckage. Have fun with it!
There are plenty of foes all over the place, so for those searching for an opponent, there are many to be found!
There is a write up on the pre-transformation version of Daigon in the Most Wanted Handbook on the main site.

Serena
The last thing the swordswoman could remember was fighting. At least that was what she thought she could remember. That memory now had a dream like quality to it and was rapidly fading from her thoughts. Then there was that voice asking her if she wanted to serve elsewhere. Naturally, Serena accepted the challenge. As a Knight of the Order of the Golden Chalice, she was honor bound to defend the weak and protect the innocent. There was no higher glory then to serve others in their times of need.
The dream was over and Serena now found herself inside an oblong box made of metal. A strange glass-like covering prevented her exit. Grabbing her trusty weapon, Blessed Salvation, Serena shattered the glass and emerged from her coffin.
The outside world was both full of wonder and bewilderment at the same time. There are many strange objects that she had never seen before. The street was some type of smoothed stone while many strange metal boxes sat upon it.
Then there were the buildings! They were constructed of strange materials that Serena had never seen before. Most were a combination of glass and metal. Still others were made of stone and carved with a skill far beyond anything she had ever seen before.
But even more than that, there were innocents being hurt. There were people in need and Serena would do her utmost to help them.
Stepping out of her coffin, Serena notes the glowing woman coming from a second near by coffin. She is strangely dressed in very revealing garments, but I find no evil in her soul. In fact, she is among the most pure of souls I have yet encountered.
"I know not where I am or how I came to be here, sister," I tell the glowing woman, "but there are innocents that need rescue and protection. Are you with me?"
Regardless of the woman's response, my attention is attracted by the unflattering splat of the strange puddle landing close by. Just the sight of it, slimy tentacles, numerous eyestalks and the foul smell tells me all that I need to know. It is a DEMON!
Rushing forward, I go to slay the foul creature. But I slow in my approach very puzzled. It has the look and smell of a demon from the fiery pits, but it does not register to my senses as being evil! In fact, I sense great innocence! How can this be?
Regaining my resolve, I continue forward, pointing Blessed Salvation towards the disgusting puddle. "Ho, Demon! How can it be that I sense innocence from you and not pure evil? Speak!"
Description: Serena stands five foot five in height. Her hair and eyes are brown in color. She wears medieval looking chain mail armor that covers most of her body. Over this she wears a white tabard, a garment that covers her front and back down to her knees, but has no sides. On the front of the tabard is the image of a golden chalice. Her sword belt keeps the tabard in place. On her feet she wears worn knee high brown boots with the cuffs folded down. Large gloves of nearly the same color almost reach her elbows. Serena wears a silvery headband that serves to keep her hair out of her eyes. She is attractive in her own way and those close to her can feel pure goodness radiating from her.

Goldstar
The hatch to pod number three is blasted open by a beam of golden energy. The cry of "Ion Blast!", fills the air. The way clear, I fly out and hover a few feet over the pod.
Those looking see a gorgeous woman with long blonde hair blowing in the breeze. Her skin is also gold in color, as if deeply tanned. She wears a skintight costume that consists of thigh-high boots with heels that are red in color. The rest of her costume is a bodysuit without the leggings. It is mostly in red, but the shoulders and trunks are dark blue in color. Large golden bracers are on each arm. What are really noticeable are the little sparkles of light that flutter around her. They are not so bright in the daytime, but would stand out greatly at night. The bubbles just further enhance her beauty and innocence.
Goldstar looks out over what is going on. There are people scream in pain and being transformed into who knows what. In spite of this, Goldstar's thoughts are mostly on herself. She knows exactly what she can do with her solar powers, but knows nothing else. Not even her name or where she is from.
The voice of the nearby woman in chain mail armor interrupts my thoughts. "I know not where I am or how I came to be here, sister," the armored woman tells me, "but there are innocents that need rescue and protection. Are you with me?"
"I-- Neither do I, ma'am," I tell her. "But yes, we must protect the innocent! I am with you! I am Goldstar!"
I'll fly after Serena as she moves towards the disgusting blob on the ground. She calls it a demon, but I don't know what that means. Should it attack, I'll hit it with a Photon Blast. If that proves to be ineffective, I'll move up to an Ion Blast. The Radiation Blast will be used only as a last resort.
Likewise, if we are attacked by something else, I'll follow the same attack pattern. If grappled with, I'll change into a Neutron Star and battle my attacker hand to hand until I can break free. Then go with my standard attack routine. If faced with numerous foes, hit them with a Solar Flare. I will only use a Plasma Blast if I can only catch enemies in its area of effect and no innocents.
As noted above, Goldstar is a beautiful woman with golden skin, long blonde hair, and bright blue eyes. She stands 5'9" in her heels, 5'6" otherwise. There is an air of innocence and nativity to Goldstar.

Stellar!
Inside Horton Plaza
Phaseflux looks up at Black Steel and waves an acknowledgment. He turns his attention to the circle of captives and prepares to join Red Steel in pounding on it when the energy wave hits. He has a brief time to note the changes among the former captives and their captors before involuntarily shrinking to normal size.
What was all that he wonders? Only then does he notice the bleeding from his lower legs and after a cursory check, ignores it and moves to the others who fell in the basement after him.
If they are all right he will point them towards any exits. If they need help he will lift or carry them further from the opening.
After doing this he will return to the hole and expand outward to recheck the situation. Assuming he sees just how bad it's gotten he will walk himself over to the edge of the hole and shrink down and desolidify to reach the outer edge without causing any more damage to the ground.
Taking in the scene after reaching solid ground he will look for the instigaters of all this misery, attacking the closest one(s) with Denstiy Increased strength while remaining miniture. This will probably be the Affrighter/Devilspawn cluster. ( Best attack = Fast Strike)
"What have you done?" he will bellow at the top of his small voice.

Bruce....Superhero of San Diego
Gargoyle:
Gargoyle stands in awe as the world around him is transformed before his eyes, thinking to himself *Great, just great! I'm sure Rackham's workin on a way to blame all this on me right now! Better kick it up a notch, this is gonna get ugly!!*
Surging Strength to +20 Gargy meets Diagon's assault with disdain.
"YEA, YEA, YEA!! WHAT'ER YA GONNA DO?!? BOAR ME TO DEATH WITH YER SPARKLIN PERSONALITY!?! TELL'YA WHAT! I'M GONNA STAND REAL STILL AND GIVE YA THE FIRST SHOT, BETTER MAKE IT COUNT!!"
Bracing for impact, Gargoyle stands rigid and stares down Diagon's charge defiantly. At the last second however, he pivots sideways and tries to launch Diagon into orbit with an upper-cut. (Levels to OCV).
_
If he hits, Gargy shoots a glance at The Silver Avenger , shaking his head:
"I TELL YA, RACKHAM, THERE'S A SUCKER BORN EVERY MINUTE!!"
Gargy will then press his advantage. If Diagon appears to be climbing to her feet he'll follow up with a move through. If she's doesn't appear be rising he'll grab the largest vehicle near him, hoist it over his head and leap into the air with it (I won't cover more than half the distance between myself and where she landed). Using the elevation to his advantage Gargy will hurl the vehicle at her prone form with all his augmented might.
_
If Gargy misses his shot with the uppercut he'll continue to duke it out with Diagon, all the while provoking her.
"WELL I'LL BE!! YA AIN'T AS STUPID AS YA LOOK!!! WON'T MOM BE SURPRISED!!"

It's not paranoia when they're really out to get you!
bum bum..
The heart beats..
bum bum..
The heart continues its life giving beating. Warmth surrounded it like a mother's hug after scraping one's knee. Then there was a jolt of something and the warmth was gone. Pain..excruiating pain rippled throughout its body like like continous tidal waves, breaking just that little inch further along the shore. Its mind, like a hard drive, crashed from the pain and wiped itself clean instead of giving in to insanity. A clean slate, it knew nothing of who or what it was before this.
Let there be light....
The resounding explosion of the saucer caused it to be innudated with beams of unknown energy, finishing the transformation. Weight was ontop of it..crushing weight that needed to be removed. The body's survival instincts took over and it shifted the pile of wreckage aside to rise up like the phoenix from its own ashes. Thoughts filtered through its mind..
Where am I?
Looking down over itself another question came forward..
What am I?
Then the final thought that brought realization to the forefront of all thoughts..
Who am I?
OOC: Ok GM Mad..most excellent idea for this guy heh. First things first for this thing..Senses. What does it see, taste, hear, smell etc? Also does it feel power building up anywhere in its body aka beam attack or growth or denisty increase. Likewise those claws..he is going to use them on the saucer parts to see if they cut through it without effort and then with effort. Pretty much this guy is going to spend his next action or two trying to figure out what it can do immediately. Once this happens and barring anyone coming after him we can go from there.
Mental state..what is the mental state of the creature? Animal, Animal with semi intelligence, problem solving etc.. I have a sneaky suspicion that this creature's comliness is down the drain heh. Just by doing these things and when you get a chance..please send me what little of the character sheet you can. If not..no biggie..I look forward to figuring it out.

GM Notes:
GM Notes:
Some quick notes here, look for a more substantial update in a day or two.
Phaseflux:
Two men fell into the basement with you, one Caucasian, one Hispanic. Rushing to check on them, you find the Caucasian man is dead. You can’t tell if he died from the fall or from something else.
The other man is still alive. Wearily he rises to his feet, mumbling in Spanish. “What is happening?,” he wonders in Spanish. “Why are they doing this?”
While Phaseflux does his best to reassure the man that he is now safe, the man continues to speak, but something slightly odd happens. His speech changes and now he is speaking in perfect English without a trace of an accent. Even he seems surprised by this.
“What did that do to me?” he wonders in perfect English.
Nightstalker:
“We got here as fast as we could”, Blue Steel insists as she carries Andrew away from the action. “Red, Green, and Gray Steel will rescue the captives. They’re the big boys of the group.”
Weapon X:
You maintain regular human level Intelligence. All of your senses are currently sharper then a normal human, but none are overpowering. Even stranger, you have cat-like irises and can see into the ultraviolet range.
You don’t feel anything building up inside of you trying to get out, per se. You do feel highly energetic and ready to take on the world.
Raking your claws across part of the saucer’s hull leaves marks in the reinforced metal plating. With effort you get deeper groves, but not clean through slashes. (Its fairly tough metal.)
Pretty much you’re on your own in figuring out what you can do and what you’re write up is like. When something is identified, then I’ll let you know what the true stat is. This goes for all the Mystery Powers players, too. Figuring out what you can do is just part of the fun! All I can really say is try things and see what happens.
(For those who are familiar with the main site, this was the same way approached Jason, Jessica, and Jennifer in Young Champions. My take is that your body has some idea how to use your powers; it’s just that your mind doesn’t yet. So by doing simple everyday things might trigger a power reaction. Once a power is revealed, you’ll become more accustomed to using it and it’ll become easier to use.)
From the above, you can guess that you have 10 INT, one or two levels of Enhanced Perception with all senses, Ultraviolet Vision, and an HKA.

Try it and find out!
It, (calling the lizard thing a it until after the battle heh), blinks It's cat like iris at the general carnage around it. It looked at the grooves it dug into the metal and grinned reptillian like at what It did. Adreneline pumped through Its veins as it smelled the violence around It. Seeing the group of banditos with guns it narrowed its eyes. For some reason It wanted to stop the shooting before someone was hurt. Well..he was going to do that until he heard the swordwoman accost the quiverinig blob of goo. The smell alone wasn't pleasant on his enhanced senses but something was wrong. If it was demonic as she said, where was its hordes of demons? It walked over toward the swordswoman to speak to her with a tell tale hiss(I think..let me know if I am wrong here.)
"You wish demonsssssss....there issssss demonssssss."
EDIT: A clawed finger pointed toward where Daigon is at battling the Gargoyle. This was all confusing to IT and has no idea what is going on. IT looked at the blob of tenticles who the woman said was innocent yet demonic looking then looked at ITSELF who looked rather demonic yet was innocent..or so IT hoped. Looking back at the blob once more IT spoke.
"Are you like me? Do you know what you are?"
Then ITS nose inhaled something besides sewage and filth..fear. The blob was afraid. How could a demon be afraid? Demons do not know fear!.
"Demonssssss do not fear. I know not why but I know thisssssss. Do you need help to hide?"
OOC: Ok here is the final post since I had to edit Daigon. IT is trying to communicate to the blob out of pity thinking the thing turned into a blob from human. Though IT is keeping a eye on those two supers near him incase they try to blindside him. Oh yea..what does Ultraviolet do for someone?

"Lets go bub!"
GM Notes:
GM Notes:
Minor correction here. The demonic looking guy and Devilspawn are both inside the Plaza and not outside where the saucer was. Neither group can see the other. In fact, the inside group is several blocks away. (Horton Plaza is huge! It completely covers 9 city blocks!)
However, the equally demonic looking Daigon is outside, so she would be a good substitute target.
Also outside are the cat-woman and the wind controlling woman. In fact, they were both be the closest to IT, the thing with no name.
And both are looking for someone to attack.
In addition, there is the guy who is who alternating being on fire and covered in icy and the woman with wings growing out of her back. That doesn't include Gargoyle, the Silver Avenger, Major Star, Serena, Goldstar, and the not-so-evil Spit Ball from Hell.
Oh, and there's a T-Rex about two blocks away.
Last Minute Addition:
Ultraviolet Vision allows one to see normally in the dark, Weapon X.
Gordon, check your PM.

Lily Pak
Despite her terror and confusion, some small part of Lily's mind registers the wave of white energy as it sweeps past. The barrier against which she had been struggling vanishes simutaneously and Lily tumbles to the ground painfully.
A strange tingling sensation sweeps through Lily as her body begins to change with unnatural speed before her very eyes! Thick fur sprouts from her skin. Her fingernails grow and change to claws as her hands and feet transform into the paws of some large beast. Her entire body shifts and seems to enlarge, causing her clothes to be shredded.
Unable to deal with the stress and inhuman horror of the day any longer, Lily's intelligence retreats into a small, quiet place in the darkest corner of her mind. Yet something remains; perhaps it is the consciousness of the beast she has become, or the savage, primitive instinct which lurks deep in every person.
Instinctively, the bear - which has suddenly appeared in the middle of the fanciest, most upscale mall in San Diego - sniffs the air, swinging it's ursine muzzle from side to side.
=========
[Notes: First off, like WX, some more sensory input here would be very helpful. If Lily has gained a bear's senses, there should be loads of sensory data - particularly in scent and hearing.
Also, could I get some description of her new form? Size, coloration, probable species, etc. Bears can vary greatly - especially paranormal ones.
I'm not assuming that Lily's mind will always be subsumed into the beast's consciousness when in this form. (Then again, I don't know yet whether she has any other form now.) I wrote it this way for now as a reaction to these particular events and stresses.
"Four mile radius"? Whoa. That said, there's no reason to assume that Rose's party was outside that area. I'll leave it up to your judgement of what would provide the most dramatic potential whether she was inside the area, and if so, what effects - if any - it had on her. I have some further thoughts on this; email / PM me if you're interested in them. If not, go with your instincts.]

The demonic looking man rises at Devilspawn's approach, gesturing with the hand not gripping his flaming sword and chanting words in a brackish alien tongue. He appears somewhat annoyed at the chain of events. He turns his anger filled red eyes on Affrighter, but his words are directed at Devilspawn.
"Tell me, how is it that you tolerate such affront from an inferior creature."
Without warning, the flat of his flaming sword is leveled at Affrighter's head.
"Insolent low-born cur! Learn to guard that wagging tongue when speaking to your superiors! That for which you bargain is ours by birth-right! We are as far beyond you as your ilk is beyond the common sheep!"
Turning his attention back toward Devilspawn, he regains his composure.
"Your pardon, the affronts of this day have been many and my patience grows thin for such vermin. My name, for the moment, is unimportant; there are many on this world who would find my presence objectionable and I am reluctant to reveal myself where prying ears may hear. I sense a kindred spirit between us, perhaps an alliance would be mutually beneficial."
If Devilspawn seems favorable to an alliance, the un-named demon surveys the chaos.
"While this is most amusing, it would seem any hope for a final victory this day would be lost, wouldn't you agree? Perhaps it would be best to gather up your comrades and depart from this place."

Out of nowhere a wave of energy flashes around me. Dropping to my knees than utterly collapsing to the ground in pain. I close my eyes in the hopes to will the pain away but to no avail. As the pain subsides, I slowly begin to open my eyes."Im not dead" I whisper to myself in astonishment.
As I check to see if im hurt in anyway my mouth drops in absolute horror. "What the %&$* has happened to me". Glancing down at my icy white skin I decide to touch it with my finger to see what it feels like. I wrap my hand around my arm and apply pressure, looking in disbelief. "This cant be happening to me". Gently getting to my feet, I begin to notice my my new form covered in frost. I raise my hands to my eye level and examine them closely. "Here goes nothing."
Assuming No one is around me. Turning towards a pillar I begin to focus on my hands as well as the moisture in the air around me. Turn towards a pillar raise my arms so that they face the pillar and try projecting a blast of cold through the air at the pillar.
If I succeed I will run( as fast as I can) towards Green Steels/Hellfire's position(above them) and access the situation,Drop down near them but not close enough to be inrange of Hellfire. "Can I help you friend" Looking In Hellfire's/Green Steel's direction. Not waiting for an answer, smiling devilishly turn and Fire an Ice blast into hellfire. If Hellfire comes after me, use martial dodge to get out of the way.
If unsuccessful concentrate on a small area and try to freeze the ground with in that area.

Krystyna Walsh
Just as Brian and Krystyna were trying to escape the chaos that was behind them, they heard a thunderous explosion. Krys and Brian stopped dead in their tracks. They looked around frantically trying to figure out where the noise had come from; that's when they spotted the light. It appeared out of no where and formed a solid wall that engulfed the mall and headed straight for them. All Krystyna could think was, "Is this the end?" She knew she wanted to escape the light, to run away, but she froze in terror.
Brian grabbed Krystyna by the arms and held her close. Looking into her eyes his voice filled with emotion Brian cries out, "I love you!" Just as their lips meet to kiss one another goodbye they are hit with the force of the wall and thrusted backwards. Brian uses his body as a shield to protect Krystyna.
A short time later...
Krys could feel her head pounding as she began to regain consciousness, it was as if something inside her head wanted to get out. Krys tried to open her eyes, but the pain was overwhelming. All she could see was the brilliant white light that had consumed them.
Krys tried to move, but she could feel the weight of something heavy on top of her. After lying there helpless for some time, the pain in her head began to subside. As Krys slowly opens her eyes they began to focus and a sigh of relief spills from her mouth as she realizes it's Brian that has her pinned to the ground. Krys tried her best to wake him, all the while praying that he had survived.
After a few minutes Krys felt Brian stir, soon he was coming to and noticing the fact that he had landed on top of his wife. Brian rose to his feet and helped Krys to hers. While dusting themselves off Krys noticed Brian acting peculiar. "What's wrong?" she asked with a note of concern in her voice. Brian looking bewildered replied, "My feet... they itch!" Krys looked down and gasped, "Look your feet! They're on fire!" Smoke began rising from Brian's boots. Krys tried to help Brian remove them, but they became so hot they burned her hands! The boots fell to the floor in flames and as they hit the ground Brian shot up into the air, stunned Krys fell backwards as she followed his quick assent. She watched in disbelief as her husband moved through the air and did his best to avoid crashing into the ceiling and slamming into walls. Krys couldn't bare to look. Covering her eyes with her hands, Krys peeked now and again to make sure Brian was alright and to every so often yell, "Look out!"
Brian out of control soon disappears from Krystyna's sight down one of the corridors.
Krystyna tries to rise to her feet and chase after Brian, when she feels a strange sensation come over her body. The feeling begins with her head then works it's way down to her chest and arms. The sensation of pins and needles begins to spread and cover her entire body. As Krystyna tries to focus she picks up one of her hands to see what is the matter. Krys notices her entire hand is transparent, now only vaguely visible. Panicking, Krys thinks to herself, "What is happening to me?"

Brian's stomach twisted in despair when his world was gone in a brilliant white flash. Believing he was about to be atomized in a nuclear blast he hugged his wife close to him, trying in vain to shield her with his own body. He had cried out, "I love you!", and was consumed by the blast wave he knew would end their lives. He lie like the dead for a time until he felt something shifting underneath him; Krystyna was still wrapped tight in his embrace. He rolled off of her, rose to his feet, helped her up, too stunned to realize they weren't dead. Finally the incessant itching in his feet gnawed through the daze; they had survived, by some miracle that defied all reason they had survived. Then reality began to set in, he'd heard an explosion BEFORE the white flash... it couldn't have been a nuclear weapon; if it had, they'd have been dead before the nerve impulse from his ears reached his brain.
When he heard someone ask, "Are you ok?", he was only vaguely aware that the voice was his own.
Krystyna spoke, but Brian couldn't wrap his mind around her words, he only stared at her blankly.
"...my feet itch."
When Krystyna looked down her eyes flared and she gasped in dismay. Following her glance down he saw smoke rising off his boots; they appeared to be smoldering! The sight evoked and emotional response with a sudden jolt. He began stamping his feet fervently; when he stooped, balanced on one foot trying to rip the boot free from the other, his footwear fell away in glowing red embers and he was sent rocketing into the air. Brian flew down the corridor out of control, shielding his head with his forearms, only his instincts prevented a high-speed collision he was sure would break his neck. But it only took a moment for his military training to kick in, bring him back to himself.
Drawing on his experience as a fighter pilot, Brian will attempt to bring his movement under control; avoid collisions, slow down. Provided he is able to do this, he returns to where he left his wife. When he doesn't see her where he left her anxiety quickly turns to panic.
"Krys?!?... KRYSTYNA!?!?"
Whirling around franticly, Brain tries to scan every direction at once in a panicked attempt to locate his wife.

Lily the Bear
A confusing cacophany of sounds and smells assault the bear's senses. Shouting, crying, the bark of a gun as it is fired. Blood and the stink of death. Garbage and half-eaten food. A few flowers and shrubs, but no trees which may be climbed to get away. Steel, oil and the tang of ozone. Strange, alien sounds and scents which she cannot even begin to identify. Even the unyeilding concrete beneath its paws has a disquieting feel.
Humans. Far too many of them, and their behavior chaotic. Lily backs into the nearest corner of the wall, seeking shelter, some ephemeral sense of safety. She watches the movements of the humans, searching for an opportunity to flee, though she knows not where she would flee to...
