Prisoners:
The orcs occupying Fort Fletcher seem to have been dealt with. The Guardians split up on various tasks to either restore or secure the fort.
Sir Acerion and Farian work to secure the defeated orcs, while Grondar examines them to see if any survived the battle. Acerion examines the rest of the warehouse area and finds nothing troubling. Farian begins to strip the orcs of their gear.
Grondar discovers that both the orogs in plate barely cling to life. Farian assists in striping the two of their gear so that Grondar can bandage them. Both are secured with ropes so that they won’t cause any trouble. By the time he reaches the regular orcs they have all passed on.
Some items of interest are found among the group’s belongings. Some of the gear is in remarkably good shape and could be enchanted. The rest is standard adventuring gear.
Wolves:
A short distance away, Arocken works to calm the wolves.
“It’s a matter of knowing how animals behave and understanding them,” Arocken explains. “Having gained the trust of this one, that should make the others easy to befriend. However, I will need everyone else to keep a discrete distance away. Your presence might startle them and they could turn on me.”Sherra stares in amazement as Arocken walks up and seemingly begins talking to the wolf. "That's a very handy skill to have," she will say to the elf. "Can it work on a large group of them, or will your friend 'speak' to the others on your behalf?"
At Arocken’s direction, the door to the warehouse where the orcs are located is closed and everyone else vacates the immediate area. More wolves appear at the other side of the Web and Arocken works to calm them. Arocken chooses to simply wait for the Web to fade on its own to free the wolves. Lighting it on fire would just startle the wolves and ruin his work.
Finally, over two and a half hours after it was cast, Argent’s Web fades away. By now all the wolves are under Arocken’s 'spell'. At his direction, they run forth and trot off through the Broken Lands exit. There are a full dozen of these giant creatures. They run off and disappear from sight.
Walking down the ramp leads to a small cavern some 40’ wide and 90’ long. An underground stream passes through the cavern, but there is no dry ways into and out of the cave. The smell of the wolves is strong in the cave and the group’s horses will resist being placed down there.
