Opikus Spell Books:
There are 8 books and each book has a different spell level in it, from levels 1 to 8. There are numerous spells in these books beyond those in the Player's Handbook, Tome of Magic, Player's Option: Spells & Magic, and the Wizards Handbook. A brief description of what these new spells do will be included. The majority of these newer spells are Alphatian in origin.
1st Level Book:
All first level mage spells from the PHB.
Special Spells:
Reflected Image (Illusion/Phantasm) - Lesser version of Mirror Image. Spell creates 1 illusionary duplicate of the caster for 3 rnds +1 rnd/level.
2nd Level Book:
All seconds level mage spells from the PHB. Vocalize from the Wizards Handbook. Displace Self from Spells & Magic.
3rd Level Book:
All third level mage spells from the PHB. Bands of Sirellyn and Lance of Disruption from Spells & Magic.
Special Spells:
Dire Charm (Enchantment/Charm) - Variation of the Charm Person spell where the target will fight for the caster even against his friends. Spell lasts for 10 rounds.
Drawmnij's Marvelous Shield (Evocation) - This is an improved version of Shield. This spell protects the caster on all sides, even from overhead attacks. Duration is 1 turn/level.
Minor Spell Deflection (Abjuration) - A Stoneskin-like spell that blocks 4 levels of magical spells directed at the caster. The spell would block Magic Missile for instance, but not a Fireball nor protect the caster against a Stinking Cloud. Duration is 3 rnds/level.
Otiluke's Acid Cloud (Evocation) - This spell creates a crystalline sphere. When thrown, the sphere shatters and a yellowish mist is unleashed covering a 30' wide area. The mist is acid fumes and those in the mist take 4d4 pts of acid damage immediately. Those who remain in the cloud take 1d4 every round. All objects carried by those in the cloud must save vs. acid or be destroyed.
Shock Shield (Alteration/Invocation) - This spell combines the effects of Shocking Grasp and Shield. The first being to make contact with the Mage's Shield spell takes damage as per a Shocking Grasp spell.

Special Spells:
Dispel Shield (Abjuration) - This spell will protect the mage against an enemy Dispel Magic attempt. The Dispel Shield blocks a Dispel Magic attempt and is iself negated in the process. All active spells on the mage are protected from the Dispel. Duration is 1 week per level and the Dispel Shield can only block one Dispel Magic.
Minor Sequencer (Invocation/Evocation) - This spell allows the mage to combine the effects of either two first level spells or a first and a second level spell. The Minor Sequencer is cast before hand and the final command words held until the mage is ready to cast the combined spells. All three spells are held and locked together until the Minor Sequencer is actually cast. The linked spells are not available by themselves nor can they be re-memorized until cast.
Mordenkainen's Electric Arc (Evocation) - Spell causes small arcs of lightning to leap from the casters fingertips. One electric arc will be generated for every 3 levels of experience. Each arc does 1d6+1/level of the caster in damage.
Remove Magic (Abjuration) - Combat version of Dispel Magic. Caster can select up to 1 target for every 2 levels the caster has to be unaffected by the spell. Thus an 8th level mage can make up to 4 beings within the area of effect immune to the dispel. The spell will remove active spells on the targets, but not affect magic items. Spell particulars are as per Dispel Magic.
Secret Word (Abjuration) - This spell, randomly, removes 1 protective spell of 8th level or less from its target.
Shocking Web (Alteration/Invocation) - This spell functions exactly as per the Web spell, with the exception that on the first round of existence it delivers damage to those in the web as per a Shocking Grasp spell.

Breach (Abjuration) - When this spell is cast at a target, it breaches and dispels all of the personal and combat orientated protection spells. Spells affected by Breach include Shield, Resist Fear, Protection from Fire/Cold, Fireshield, Protection from Acid, Protection from Normal Missiles, Stoneskin, Armor, Ghost Armor, Mantle, and Improved Mantle and other spells of that nature.
Greater Dispel Magic (Abjuration) - Functions as per Dispel Magic, with the exception that the area of effect is a 5' cube/level of the caster. A 9th level mage will cover a 45' cube with this spell.
Snilloc's Major Missile (Invocation) - A higher powered version of Magic Missile. Caster can toss 1 missile for every 2 levels of experience, up to a maximum of 15d4 in damage. Unlike Magic Missile, the Major Missile cannot be spread and only affects 1 target.
Spell Thrust (Abjuration) - This spell strips the target of all protective magicks of under 5th level.
Sunfire (Evocation) - This spell is similar to Fireball, with the exception that there is no range to it. The flames explode out from the caster himself who is immune to the effects of the spell. Damage is 1d6 per level up to a maximum of 15d6.

Triggered Effect (Evocation) - This spell is similar to Contingency as the caster can place a spell upon a location or object that will be later triggered when a specific condition is fulfilled. Spell particulars are as per Contingency.
Spell Deflection (Abjuration) - This spell is similar to the Minor Spell Deflection, except that it will block a total of 10 spell levels of magicks cast directly at the caster.

All three spell slots remain filled until the combination is cast and the two spells that linked by Sequencer cannot be cast independently, unless the mage has multiples of that spell in memory.

There are 8 books and each book has a different spell level in it, from levels 1 to 8. There are numerous spells in these books beyond those in the Player's Handbook, Tome of Magic, Player's Option: Spells & Magic, and the Wizards Handbook. A brief description of what these new spells do will be included. The majority of these newer spells are Alphatian in origin.

Reflected Image (Illusion/Phantasm) - Lesser version of Mirror Image. Spell creates 1 illusionary duplicate of the caster for 3 rnds +1 rnd/level.
2nd Level Book:
All seconds level mage spells from the PHB. Vocalize from the Wizards Handbook. Displace Self from Spells & Magic.
3rd Level Book:
All third level mage spells from the PHB. Bands of Sirellyn and Lance of Disruption from Spells & Magic.
Special Spells:
Dire Charm (Enchantment/Charm) - Variation of the Charm Person spell where the target will fight for the caster even against his friends. Spell lasts for 10 rounds.
Drawmnij's Marvelous Shield (Evocation) - This is an improved version of Shield. This spell protects the caster on all sides, even from overhead attacks. Duration is 1 turn/level.
Minor Spell Deflection (Abjuration) - A Stoneskin-like spell that blocks 4 levels of magical spells directed at the caster. The spell would block Magic Missile for instance, but not a Fireball nor protect the caster against a Stinking Cloud. Duration is 3 rnds/level.
Otiluke's Acid Cloud (Evocation) - This spell creates a crystalline sphere. When thrown, the sphere shatters and a yellowish mist is unleashed covering a 30' wide area. The mist is acid fumes and those in the mist take 4d4 pts of acid damage immediately. Those who remain in the cloud take 1d4 every round. All objects carried by those in the cloud must save vs. acid or be destroyed.
