The group had been roughly assembled by the infamous Tara Nightshade after an exiting battle that did quite a bit of destruction on the nefarious cantina, the Black Hole. Most of the group were looking for a means out of Mos Espa at the least and potentially off planet. Tara had a job that at least took them to a much distant part of Tatooine: Mos Shuuta.
The job was to meet with a rebel representative to negotiate for the defection of a somewhat notorious Imperial scientist along with his work. They would earn 10% of the amount that the managed to successfully negotiate, with some possible bonuses for extra advantages for Ulan Mustigor.
The meeting started off somewhat tense. Oona Braitano was skeptical of the intentions of Mustigor and offered a plain bounty to turn him over. Garet the Drall who volunteered to be the spokesperson and negotiator for the group decided the the offered bounty was not as many credits as the 10% fee and so managed to bring Oona around to accept the defection for what it was. A fee of 18.000cr was agreed upon and so that would be 1800cr for the team. Not a bad haul for two day's work and no real trouble.
Of course, that's when trouble came along. This was in the form of Imperials. This included several squads of Stormtroopers. At their head strode a grey clad Imperial Intelligence officer, Kyra Mantell. Her uniform was crisp and her posture precise. Dark hair cropped short did nothing to soften her razor-sharp features. At this point some of the group may have been lamenting that they did not have a spotter outside or tie in to the cameras on the building that the noticed the previous evening when they arrived.
An ill-advised drunken catcall from one of the more inebriated patrons was met only with an immediate blaster bolt. She gazed across the crowd in the cantina, clearly looking for someone or something. Everyone began to get a bit worried. Only Garet and FL-AR3 had engaged Oona at this point, but the Stormtroopers were watching everyone.
When the Imperial Officer’s eyes alit on Oona, she smiled. It was not a warm smile. “Ah, Oona Braitano, what an unexpected surprise to see you here. And what interesting friends you appear to be making.” The hard eyes took the pair in in a moment. Everyone feels like you’ve been catalogued.
It’s clear that the officer expected Oona to be here and that the group have stepped into something significant. “Now then, won’t you all come along with me like good little terrorists.”
Oona uncrossed her legs and turned, for all the world as if she was about to surrender. “Go”, she utters before suddenly diving from her chair and firing several blaster bolts from a blaster no one ever even saw her draw.

Re: Caught in the Web (Episode 2)
With the gunfight now quickly underway, everyone was looking for a way out. Unwilling to engage this many Stormtroopers, several of the team decided to flee. Garet and Kilian and FL-AR3 headed for the front door but found it blocked by more Stormtroopers outside. Spanner and Pron waited for an opportunity to flee themselves. Had Den Nasi not been in the nearby bunk house, sick with space flu, this might have turned into a full-on battle.
FL-AR3 attempted to help Garet escape by throwing him past the blockading Troopers, but instead managed to bounce the diminutive Drall off one of the Imperials, straight in the face. It did manage to cause enough surprise for Garet to slip past and rush outside. Kilian made more of an opening and followed with FL-AR3 behind. There even more Stormtroopers waited and a firefight began.
Inside Oona had dropped a couple of Stormtroopers herself and made a break for the back of the cantina. Several enemies followed her and there was more blaster fire and then silence. Spanner slipped back there and saw the downed Troopers and an escape hatch and followed where Oona had presumably went. While the Troopers were rounding up the rest of the patrons, Pron decided that he was not willing to go in for questioning, even if he could manage an alibi. It was too risky and Imperial methods could me less than humane. The Sullustan pilot managed to break away and also found his way out the back of the cantina.
Outside, Kilian commandeered a speeder bike and headed away at a quick pace, but the crowd that had gathered to watch caused him to veer into a building near the Jawa's sail tents and send him flying over the handlebars. Meanwhile, FL-AR3 engaged in some blaster exchanges and took a shot in the back from the Stormtroopers with Officer Mantell.
Pron went back for Nasi and the various groups all headed north on the recommendation of Spanner who had spoken to Oona and was told she had a ship at Landing Bay Besh.
Making their way there, all six members of the job met up outside the Expedition Store and proceed to try to advance on the Landing Bay by circumnavigating Warehouse Besh. Finding that entering that facility would prove too difficult, the group then came up with a plan to enter the Landing Bay.
Two Stormtroopers guarded the entrance and the team made quick work of them, shooting them down as quickly as they could. Thought the Landing Bay was locked, a hacking job managed to gain them access. Still on the run from the original Stormtroopers, they quickly locked themselves in and kept watch.
After meeting with a floor supervisor and questioning her, the team determined that none of the ships here were actually belonging to Oona. Unless she came in on someone else's ship, they found themselves out of luck. Threats to the floor supervisor found her running for safety of the office and Pron finally had enough and stunned her so they could access her datapad. After further threatening the other staff in the office, it was disappointing to find that allowing take-off was not managed through the Landing Bay itself, but rather with the authorization of Imperial Spaceport Control.
Things had reached their most dire point. There was talk off trying to cut through the docking clamps on one of the ships and blasting their way out. This would take some time to cut through all three of the secure metal clamps and there was no guarantee that no one would miss noticing the guards no longer at there post. This was truly out of the frying pan and into the fire. Everyone tried to prepare for what would come next.
