Tales from the Edge - Hunters and Prey

[GM Fang]

The trail of the Ubese and his ship has led to Landing Bay Aurek. Meeting with the docking agent has led our protagonists to learn that the Ubese recently landed on a ship which belongs to a company known as Trans-Galactic Import and Export Company.

"Fire fights have a way of holding people up," he growls softly to Pash.

"Don't I know it," Pash says with a chuckle.

"It's to hide the ugly." He half smirks trying not to show too much teeth. Kitazza looks to the other ship and a smile slowly etches across his hairy features. "Pash you think he would mind if we borrowed it?" Then looking at the human and the Zavi. "We may have a ride and ship." Kitazza will look back at the dock manager. "Thanks." Then walk toward the ship. Seeing if any bays are open or if there is a command hatch to open it up.

Pash follows along as Kitazza moves towards the ship. "I think someone might mind." Pash gives the ship a cursory view. "She's not a beauty by any means, but better than we have now," he adds.

The dock supervisor moves over closer to the Wookie but not too close. She looks at Kit but whispers to Pash since she is closer to him. Kit can just hear the proceedings. The others can if the have moved closer. "We're quite short-handed here just recently," she begins. "For say 500 credits I might consider doing my post-unloading inspection now." She indicates the ship that is finished unloading. She whispers even lower this next part. "My terminal would be unattended for about 20 minutes or so," she says with a wink, and leading with her eyes towards the ship Kit is checking.

Now what?

[GM Fang]

Mile'ka -

Mile'ka decides to follow the Ubese once she catches sight of him. He moves off and the Twi'lek bounty hunter is on the prowl after him. Eventually they end up on the Trader's Ledge. There are lots of scattered crates and machinery so she is able to move in and view around the small processing plant.

She can see the Ubese talking with a Verpine. Not far away a balloon and basket rest on a nearby platform.

Now what?

[Zavi]

Zavi:

Pash speaks up, “The transport that Neesa was referring to is back in Landing Bay Besh. That’s why she wanted us to meet there. We never checked out the ship because we were waiting for the rest of you guys to show up.”

“Oh,” Zavi notes. “I should should have realized that.”

The woman looks up again, a quizzical look on her face. “Did you say, an Ubese? You mean, one of those creatures with the mask and the weird voice? “ She doesn’t pause long as her questions are mostly rhetorical. “That creep and I had a run-in when he last landed here.” She looks a bit angry. “He came in on that ship.” She points to the one that she had identified as belonging to the Trans-Galactic Import and Export Company.”

“He's a real real charmer,” Zavi agrees. “Who's the Trans-Galactic Import and Export Company?”

Pash follows along as Kitazza moves towards the ship. "I think someone might mind." Pash gives the ship a cursory view. "She's not a beauty by any means, but better than we have now," he adds.

“As long long as it flies,” is Zavi's comment.

Kori:

"Aha, I know what you are doing. Trying to get free information! Nothing's free in these parts, young lady." He picks up a random part from the counter and turns it about in his hands.

“You can't blame a girl for trying.”

After a moment, he looks back at her. "There's a Sullustan that was asking similar questions. Might find him at the cantina or the bunkhouse eventually." He then leans in close and whispers, "This is a favor to your father. But you didn't hear this from me. Imperial Lieutenant Herkin."

He then moves away a bit, tossing the part to Kori. "I have some things to attend to..."

“Thanks,” Kori says with a wave. “I think,” she mentally adds as she retraces her steps back to the land-speeder.

Kori won't say anything to her sister until she is seated in the land-speeder.

“I don't know what happened just yet, but I know who to talk to next.” After a pause, Kori will add, “Are you familiar with an Imperial Lieutenant Herkin?”

[GM Fang]

Post Continued -

“He's a real real charmer,” Zavi agrees. “Who's the Trans-Galactic Import and Export Company?”

The woman responds, "I don't know who the owner is. They have a couple different ships that come through here. Maybe one a month or so. We do the unloading generally, but the company has their own workers load the ships usually. They pay well, so the boss doesn't ask extra questions."

Pash gives the ship a cursory view. "She's not a beauty by any means, but better than we have now," he adds.

“As long long as it flies,” is Zavi's comment.

"I hear you there, fuzzy," Pash says with a laugh. "I'd love to get my behind in a pilot's seat again," he adds with a wink.

Not really following what is going on, Zavi will say, “What do do you think?” to his companions.

Pash leans in and whispers. "That's a risky opportunity," he says to the others. "So basically, for 500 creds, she's going to walk off and leave her terminal unattended. We hack it and we can take that ship. It's so crazy, it might just work! I'm in." He looks at the others. "Just get me inside and I can fire her up. Who's our best hacker?"

"Just get me inside and I can fire her up. Who's our best hacker?"

"I am a gun and guard so my skills with tech are average. What about you two?" Vlad now wish they had a techy with them and not all guns and a pilot.

[Kitazza]

Kitazza

Not really following what is going on, Zavi will say, “What do do you think?” to his companions.

"Just get me inside and I can fire her up. Who's our best hacker?"

Kitazza looks to the others as they hear what is going on, his amber eyes glancing past them on occasion to see who else is around. “It might be worth it, If we are able to pull it off. But I dunno if our Slicer is up to the task!” he growls, his translator trying to keep up with his growling.

Reaching a big paw into his backback he takes out the comlink that was given to him, turns it to the frequency Harrison is on and growls, “ Harrison, Nessa we need your skills.” His translator tripping over the words slowly. “We found the Ubese ship in Aurek, we need a hacker and 500 credits,“ he growls out. Speaking of credits, adding growls angrily. “I need 175 credits!”

Kitazza lowers his bowcaster so that it is resting across his paws, “Hired gun, Brawn and decent pilot,” he growls looking at Vlad and the others; “Though I’m starting to get good at bribery,” he says with a throaty chuckle.

[Mileka]

Mile'ka finds that there are quite a bit of available props to cover her spying efforts. She will make sure no one is around that can approach her suddenly and will continue to watch the Ubese and his interactions with the Verpine. She is curious if the mercenary hands over the electronic device he was using earlier, or if this is another transaction altogether.

[GM Fang]

Mile'ka -

The are a few haggard individuals of various races mulling about, but none of them look dangerous. She moves from one stack of machinery to a pile of crates to avoid a couple of Ugnaughts puttering on broken machinery nearby.

The Ubese and Verpine exchange words and after a few moments of what the Twi'lek determines to be a negotiation, the Ubese passes the Verpine some credits electronically. The Verpine then motions to the balloon basket and calls to the two Ugnaughts. With porcine squeals they waddle over to begin working on the balloon. One increases the heat and it fills completely while another loads some more crates into the large basket from the platform. A Gamorean begins removing retaining lines as the Ubese and Verpine board.

Now what?

[GM Fang]

Korianna -

Kori won't say anything to her sister until she is seated in the land-speeder.

“I don't know what happened just yet, but I know who to talk to next.” After a pause, Kori will add, “Are you familiar with an Imperial Lieutenant Herkin?”

Kori's sister thinks for a moment. "The woman I met this morning said something about a Lt. Herkin. I think he was the one who arrested her boyfriend." Lani thinks a bit more and then her eyes grow wide. "Lt. Herkin is the one who told me yesterday that Larek was never arrested. What's going on, Kori?"

Now what?

[Harrison Aerostar]

Harrison hears Kitazza's voice come over the comlink reporting,

“ Harrison, Nessa we need your skills.” His translator tripping over the words slowly. “We found the Ubese ship in Aurek, we need a hacker and 500 credits,“ he growls out. Speaking of credits, adding growls angrily. “I need 175 credits!”

Hearing the report, Harrison shakes his head and sighs at the insistence of spending more unforeseen credits. He then takes the comlink and replies "A hacker and credits? I guess that means the ship wasn't actually a so call spoil of the cantina battle. Are you proposing that we are to steal it?" Harrison releases the talk button and looks at both Bep and Neesa and mutters under his breath "Tracking down this ship is starting to be more trouble than its worth."

Harrison then asks Bep, "Ok, enough stringing you along. I'll agree to the offer you have kindly negotiated with us, if you're still open to it. We are wasting to much time with this sidetrack all over town."

[Kitazza]

Kitazza -

Hearing the humans reply, Kitazza looks to the others, then replies "I guess my translator is faulty." He says looking down at it, he then looks up at it. "Steal?" he growls shockingly, "I'm proposing we borrow it, if you were a better shot we wouldn't have to," he growls, the slightest of smirks crosses his features.

Releasing the com link, then growling in his native tongue, "I don't think our boss ( rest in native tongue) has the heart to steal from someone who tried to kill him." He says to the others though his translator dies after 'our boss.' Turning to the lady manager, "Enjoy your break."

"Let's go to the ship," he says to the others then takes one last look at the Ubese ship, then turns for the exit.

[GM Fang]

The group is trying to decide whether to try and take the ship that the Ubese landed in. Kit seems to want to try and take it but Harrison thinks it best to hire the ship upon which Bep the Ortolan is first mate.

Bep wiggles his stubby fingers and hoots a bit, as Harrison tells him they will take his offer.

Neesa leans in, "I heard the communicator. The Wookie wants to try and capture that ship?" She wrinkles her nose for a moment as she considers the thought. "Having a ship is certainly a huge advantage. I am sure I could gain entry should that prove necessary. But I do not believe that the ship belongs to our 'friend'. We would be creating an additional enemy with such a move. Very exciting."

"Taking the ship Bep offers gives us possible back-up should we run into trouble on Gavos. Of course they could just abandon us there, which is not a covert if we have our own transportation."

Back at the landing bay, as Kit takes another look at the ship, Pash approaches. "Are we giving up that easily? That ship is just sitting there waiting for us..."

What is the final answer?

[Mileka]

Mile'ka watches as the two conclude their business. She will try to determine what the crates might hold, her head-tails flicking mild interest. However, she is hardly in the position to intervene, nor is there any benefit in doing so against these odds.

Assuming the balloon lifts off and heads somewhere, she will watch where it is going in case the information proves useful later. Depending on how fast the balloon travels, she may linger for a bit to get its heading, but she will not loiter too long to draw undue attention to herself. Assuming nothing notable occurs, Mile'ka will then make her way back to the spaceport where she originally observed the Ubese. While she suspects that either he did not have a ship, or it was otherwise compromised, she wants to make absolute certain.

[Alex Baun]

Vlad looks at the Kit, Vazi, and Pash and moves in front.

"Now I do not know much about any here and truthful I normally do not worry about due to my boss' nature." Vlad says while looking up at the sky. "But the ship is from Trans-Galactic Import and Export Company, why don't we see if there is anyone to talk to? Hell if we are lucky they could give us a lead on the snake that gave you two some burns. Also those two can wait this time now I want to know how he got here." After all it is an bounty hunter so why did he take freighter here and not a passenger transport. "And there is one more thing about our snake that has me worried," the next part is only loud enough for the group to hear, "Who hired him?"

[Zavi]

Zavi:

Zavi listens to all the discussion going on back and forth about what they thought was the ship the Ubese arrived on. Vlad makes some very good points.

“This is a different different matter entirely,” Zavi notes. “Ubese passenger passenger, not ship master. Real ship master might be more more than we are ready to deal with.”

After a pause, Zavi adds, “Zavi hired hired to do Hutt mission, nothing more. No need need to make more enemies.”

[Korianna]

Kori:

Kori's sister thinks for a moment. "The woman I met this morning said something about a Lt. Herkin. I think he was the one who arrested her boyfriend." Lani thinks a bit more and then her eyes grow wide. "Lt. Herkin is the one who told me yesterday that Larek was never arrested. What's going on, Kori?"

“I don't know,” Kori honestly answers. “But Vorn mentioned that there was a Sullustan asking the same questions I was. He might know more than we do. He suggested looking for him back at the cantina or the bunkhouse.”

Powering up the land-speeder, Kori drives back to where she just left. Hopefully, things are much more quieter now.

[Harrison Aerostar]

In his head, Harrison listens to what Neesa has to say about the pros and cons of taking the ship. Despite the fact that she believes she can handle the hacking gig, he agrees that it is unnecessary to gain additional enemies, since she thinks that the ship is not owned by the Ubese himself.

Out loud, Harrison says "You bring up some good points Neesa. Even though you say that you could easily handle the hacking job, I agree that it could be handy to have Bep and his ship around, if things go south. I don't think we need to make our life more difficult than it needs to be to complete this mission." Pausing a moment Harrison looks towards Bep and then continues, "Besides, it may be nice to have Bep and his ship in our contacts list, just in case we need him in the future. Right Bep?"

After waiting a moment for Bep to answer about keeping him as a good contact, Harrison finishes with, "Lets get this done Bep, so we can get off this rock and on our way."

[GM Fang]

Mile'ka -

The crates are standard middle sized metal transport crates. It's difficult to tell the exact contents but they are heavy and moved with repulsor lifts.

The balloon does not move too quickly. It lifts off and there are motorized fans that pop up on one end to give extra directional propulsion. It begins to head east and then corrects to an east-northeast direction. The Ugnaughts either don't see Mike'ka or else they don't care that she is there.

After a short time the balloon disappears on the horizon, and the Twi'lek then heads to the Landing Bay again. The Imperial sentries are still there. They are not Stormtroopers but wear the black uniforms of the Empire and are armed with blaster pistols that are holstered.

As she approaches there is a bit of a commotion going on not far from the warehouse which must have started since she passed by last time. An Aqualish is arguing with several humans and pushes one to the ground. The walrus-faced alien then pulls out a blaster and points it at the fallen human. Before it can fire a blaster shot is heard and it hits the Aqualish in the upper chest. The creature staggers backward a moment and a second shot rings out, also hitting the creature, this time in the head. The Aqualish drops to the ground limply.

Everyone in the area turns to look. The firer is a man in dark armor and robes and a black concealing helm. He starts to turn away as the sentries rush over that way. When he turns back and places his hands on his hips after re-slinging his blaster carbine, the sentries stop, apparently recognizing the man. They then briefly check the humans that the Aqualish was fighting with, but they gather up their wounded comrade and quickly head back to the warehouse.

Going to try and enter?

[Kitazza]

Kitazza -

The dark-haired Wookie looks at Pash and for a long moment considers the human's desire to be free and what better way than to take from those that deserve it. But then, Zavi reminds him that they are working for a Hutt. Not wanting to piss off a Hutt, Kitazza looks at Pash. "There will be other ships," he says with a growl.

[GM Fang]

Korianna -

Kori drives the landspeeder with herself and her sister back to the cantina. An Imperial officer is seen speeding away from the cantina on a speeder bike some distance away, as they approach.

Inside the cantina the fallen bodies have been removed somewhere and the toppled tables upright. The explosion in the corner has been covered by tarps and activity seems to be much the same as it was the last time Kori came in. There are patrons, fewer than before, and the music is playing but the dancer is not on the stage.

The two sisters wander into the structure and few patrons give them much attention but most do look. The bartender looks up also to see who has arrived but doesn't seem to react much. While looking around, they do not see a Sullestan in the bar. But a few moments later, a short figure pushes past and heads to the bar. Lani elbows her sister and points. Kori looks and sure enough the figure is a male Sullestan.

Now what?

[Mileka]

Lots of angry people around, Mile'ka thinks as she watches the argument turn to blaster play. Must be the sand.

Seeing the Imperial sentries go running off to deal with the fighting parties, Mile'ka will walk purposefully into the landing bay. It is doubtful anyone has been notified yet on this remote dustbowl, if the Empire is even bothering at all. Too many unknowns currently for her liking, but she will make her way into the landing bay and see what there is to be seen.

[GM Fang]

After attempts to find the Ubese's ship and discussions on whether to try and steal the ship he apparently arrived on Mos Shuuta, Harrison finally decides to hire Bep's ship.

Harrison says "You bring up some good points Neesa. Even though you say that you could easily handle the hacking job, I agree that it could be handy to have Bep and his ship around, if things go south. I don't think we need to make our life more difficult than it needs to be to complete this mission." Pausing a moment Harrison looks towards Bep and then continues, "Besides, it may be nice to have Bep and his ship in our contacts list, just in case we need him in the future. Right Bep?"

Bep makes some hooting noises and says, "Beep Bop Boop!" He accepts the reduced payment and uses his com, apparently to radio the ship.

Neesa then adds, "The ship is in Landing Bay Besh." She then contacts the group there through Pash's com and instructs them to meet back at Besh once more.

At Landing Bay Aurek, the group there agrees to give up the attempt to take the ship, some more grudgingly than others.

Kitazza looks at Pash. "There will be other ships," he says with a growl.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." Pash says and shrugs towards the dock supervisor. She frowns slightly. "We may take you up on your offer when we get back though," he says to her hopefully.

Vlad mentions wanting to talk to the crew of the ship but she says that the ship is unmanned for now while they unloaded. And the crew is on furlow until the ship isready for loading.

The two groups rendezvous at Landing Bay Besh. Interestingly, there are Storm Troopers in the area outside the Landing Bay and not just because their barracks is nearby. They appear to be on duty but most are milling about. One at the entrance stops the groups from entering and asks for identification. Pash looks nervously at Kit. After a moment, Neesa steps forward with her ID and chats with the trooper. Apparently her charms work as she convinces him to let them pass and doesn't check anyone else's ID.

Inside the Landing Bay is full and there are a few Imperial agents here. The newest ship that apparently has just landed is an Imperial shuttle. Bep leads the group to his ship and as you all approach, the ramp lowers and you see the ship's captain standing there. "Vanda, good to see you again," Neesa says.

Vanda is a female Zeltron. She is an extremely attractive near-Human with reddish pink skin and long curly blue hair. Her outfit is yellow and bright green and is form-fitting and rather revealing with strategically placed cut-outs. "Neesa, how lovely. And I just adore that outfit," she says in response. "Come on aboard," she says to the group. Each individual gets the feeling that Vanda is very familiar, as if you met before.

While boarding, Vanda will kiss each member of the group, unless forcibly denied. Pash seems to enjoy the moment quite a bit, and gives two thumbs up to his Wookie friend behind him. Cabin space will be full for the trip and people will have to pair up for sleeping space. Bep expects the flight to take about 3 days, or so.

Any actions, conversations or anything else anyone wants to accomplish on the trip there should be posted now or else will jump (hyperspace, get it?) to the approach to Gavos.

Kitazza looks at Pash. "There will be other ships," he says with a growl.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." Pash says and shrugs towards the dock supervisor. She frowns slightly. "We may take you up on your offer when we get back though," he says to her hopefully.

“And the satisfaction of getting back at him will be mutual pleasing. “ he says with a growl his translator squeeking out a reply.

Kitazza looks to the pilot and gives the slightest of nods. “Remember when we got here,” he growls evenly as his translator squeaks out a reply fairly softly. “Thanks, Neesa,”as they get out of earshot of the Stormtrooper.

Vanda is a female Zeltron. She is an extremely attractive near-Human with reddish pink skin and long curly blue hair. Her outfit is yellow and bright green and is form-fitting and rather revealing with strategically placed cut-outs. "Neesa, how lovely. And I just adore that outfit," she says in response. "Come on aboard," she says to the group. Each individual gets the feeling that Vanda is very familiar, as if you met before.

The large wookie lets out a low whistle. Even though she isn’t his species he can appreciate the finer things in life. Within several moments, Kit is ushered aboard where Vanda kisses Pash welcome whom quickly gives him two thumbs up. Kit shakes his head at his friend. If he didn’t know better he was like an adolescent boy getting his first kiss. Seeing this as a greeting, Kit will lean down and be allowed to be kissed and for a moment. Kitazza will reach out slowly as not to startle her, with a paw and lightly caress her curly blue hair almost like he would groom her longer.

Once aboard and settled, he turns to Nessa, “How do you know the crew?” He asks with a growl his translator kicking in a moment later.

Afterward he will look for Pash and ask. “Once we are done here, perhaps we can retrieve that ship.”

Seeing as the crew is probably more knowledgeable of the system they are going to, Kitazza asks Vanda, "What do you know of Gavos? Any rumors you may have heard?" he asks curiously.

[Zavi]

Zavi:

With the matter of the ship settled, the mercenaries return to the other landing bay. It really didn't matter to Zavi one way or the other. Transportation is transportation and this is just a one and done mission in his mind.

There are Storm Troopers and other Imperial agents at the landing bay, but Zavi pays them no attention. If they are looking for someone, then looking at them will just draw unwanted attention. His weapons are secured and out of hand.

The slinky green furless woman gets us past the checkpoint without issue. Next we meet the captain of the vessel, a slinky pink human-like being. Her bluish hair is rather distracting Zavi decides. Strangely enough she kisses everyone. Zavi wonders if she is marking her prey.

“You don't know where my fur fur has been,” Zavi notes when being kissed.

Once on board, Zavi will look around enough to get the general layout of the ship. Since quarters will need to be shared, Zavi will say to Kit, “You biggest, me small smallest. We share share cabin?”

[Korianna]

Kori:

Things have settled down back at the cantina. The sisters walk in and their arrival is noted by those inside, but most don't pay much attention. Kori looks around but does not note any Sullustan present. After a time, Lani nudges her and her quarry enters the cantina and heads to the bar.

Kori gestures for her sister to stay where she is here. Kori easily steps up the bar where the Sullustan is at and stands beside him.

“I hear you are asking the same questions I am,” Kori says just loud enough for the Sullustan to hear. When the Sullustan turns to her, Kori will smile sweetly and add, “Perhaps we can compare notes over a drink?”

Introducing the crew -

The first crew member that our protagonists meet besides Vanda (rhymes with panda) and Bep is a female Pantoran. Vanda introduces her as Venlana, her communication and navigation specialist. Venlana is an attractive woman with Pantoran's blue skin and blue-black hair. She has yellow eyes with blue pupils and wears her hair in an asymmetric style. She has a soft melodious voice but appears distracted or aloof. Venlana will show the team to their rooms, allowing them to double up as they wish.

After boarding the freighter, but before reaching the sleeping quarters, the next crew member is quite a sight. Coming around the corner everyone is surprised to come face to face with an assassin droid. For those who know what an assassin droid is, once the initial shock wears off they notice it looks something like a metallic bumblebee, parts of its normally all- black carapace painted bright yellow. Also surprising you hear one of the most seductive voices, with an Imperial accent, emitted from the droid, but the words give everyone alarm. Raising the flame-thrower arm in the group's direction, the droid coos, "I am going to destroy you."

Seeing concern on at least some of the group's faces, Venlana steps in front of the droid and pushes the flamethrower arm down. "Don't scare our guests, Gigi," the Pantoran woman chastises. She then turns to the group. "This is GI-61. Unfortunately she's only partially reprogrammed. Assassin droids have some complications in their programming that makes it extremely difficult to make them normal even after a complete wipe." Venlana motions toward GI-61. "She only talks in destructive terminology, but 'I am going to destroy you' means 'I am pleased to meet you.'," she says with a grin, her voice sounding like a favorite aunt or school teacher. "It's rather difficult to get used to but Gigi's language is consistent anyway."

As Venlana leads the group around the imposing Droid, Gigi will call out, "I will be happy to kill you all later!"

Just past the assassin droid, reaching the sleeping quarters, everyone hears, and Feels!, what must be footsteps. A moment later you all meet the fourth of Vanda's crew. Filling the hallway is a massive creature, its head barely below the ceiling. It has smooth dark purple, almost black skin, with white on its chin and chest. His head and shoulders are massive with no neck to speak of. "Aha," Venlana says, "this is Dorn. At least we call him Dorn, he doesn't speak much Basic. Dorn is basically the noise he makes when sleeping. Sort of a cross between chanting and snoring. You'll all experience it soon enough," she adds with a knowing wink.

The gigantic Koodan expresses what must pass for a smile, rows of nubby teeth showing. Seeing Kit nearby, Dorn's eyes widen and he steps forward, grabbing the Wookie in his arms. The Koodan makes even the large Wookie seem small in comparison. "Puppy!" The Koodan bellows in a deep resonating sound. His massive black fingers carefully pet Kit's head.

"No, Dorn. This is a Wookie. Not a puppy." Venlana places her hand on her crew member's arm, getting his attention.

"Wook-py?" Dorn asks, confusion showing on his wide features.

"Close enough, " she says, "I need to give them access codes to their rooms."

Dorn seems to understand and let's Kit go. He looks at Venlana then leans in to Kitazza again, patting the dark-haired Wookie carefully on the head. "Puppy," he whispers, then lumbers away.

Kitazza

Gonna take a little liberty when Zavi asks him to bunk together)

Kitazza hears Zavi's complaint to Vanda and growls in reply, "You don't know where it's been either," he says with a smirk.

When Vanda introduces them to a blue female named Venlana, he nods and growls a hello, silently wondering just how colorful the crew is. Then an Assassin droid steps into view expressing that it will destroy them in a seductive tone. The Wookie takes a step back and starts unslinging his bowcaster as Venlana steps in front of her? "How?" Is all he is able to growl out as he stares back at the droid as it calls after them.

Within a few moments a loud footstep is heard and felt through the floor, causing Kit to stumble mid step as Zavi asks him to bunk with him. The large Wookie is barely able to get a reply out as his eyes rest on a huge figure that reaches out for him calling him a puppy. Kit begins to roar in displeasure as his translator kicks in, "Oh hell...Roar....untinni....off me moof miller." As Venlana sets the creature Dorn straight. For a few moments, Kitazza catches his breath as the large creature pets his head," Hi, Dorn," causing the wookie to furl his eyebrows and looks annoyed. He looks at Zavi, "Glad he didn't see you," as his translator squeaks in reply.

"Don't take the ship it would be bad he said," he mumbles to himself as he shakes his big hairy head.

Vlad is to say unhappy but not mad at the current phase of the journey. He will take note of the sand troopers when they walked in to the bay and the droid on the ship as well. He will put his breath mask on and leave it on for most of ride to where they are going only to remove it when he eats. He chuckles a little when the Wookiee gets pickedup like a doll thinking that if it was anyone else they would be dead. He will look for a corner in the room and will sleep there. "I do not like this," He says under his breath so no one can hear him.

Vlad will keep to himself for the ride unless some one ask him questions or needs him for something.

[Harrison Aerostar]

Seeing way Neesa handles the storm troopers, Harrison becomes quite impressed. When she returns to the group, Harrison says to her with a smile "Nice work. You'll have to teach me that trick sometime."

Upon seeing Vanda exit the ramp to greet them, Harrison is a bit stunned by her beauty and says "Well, what do we have here," as he looks Vanda over. When it comes to his turn to kiss Vanda, Harrison decides to take a chance and wraps his arms around her waist. Dipping her down a bit he accepts the kiss and even moves a hand down to caress her bottom, before bringing her back up and releasing from the embrace. Once he releases her, he braces for the slap he thinks is coming.

At hearing that cabin space is going to be tight, Harrison turns towards Neesa and with a wide grin on his face says "Guess that means it's you and me as bunk mates."

As Vanda escorts the group and Harrison sees the next extremely beautiful crew member that they meet, Venlana; he begins to think to himself that he must have fallen asleep and he is now dreaming. He even pinches himself on the arm just to make sure he is awake. After pinching himself, Harrison tips the front of his hat to Venlana and says "Pleasure to meet you, miss."

When they meet the assassin droid and are threatened by it, Harrison gallantly puts an arm out blocking Neesa, as if the maneuver could actually stop the flamethrower, and reaches for his blaster. Once Venlana steps in, he relaxes. As they walk off and he hears Gigi's last remark, Harrison chuckles a bit and says "I'm sure she will be."

Seeing what Dorn does to Kit, Harrison laughs and says "Can't say that I have seen a Wookiee being petted before, looks like you may have a new friend for life there, Kitazza."

Mile'ka -

Passing quickly by the Imperial sentries which are preoccupied by the short gunfight, the Twi'lek enters the Landing Bay. This one is somewhat large and there are three YT-1300s here. One is having some repairs done by droids. There seems to be other activity here as well. Another of the ships is having cargo loaded by dock crew and the last seems to be undergoing an inspection by the human dock supervisor.

Korianna -

Back at the cantina, Kori and her sister are looking to find a Sullestan that Vorn told the engineer about. Not long after entering, the smallish alien appears at the cantina and heads to the bar.

“I hear you are asking the same questions I am,” Kori says just loud enough for the Sullustan to hear. When the Sullustan turns to her, Kori will smile sweetly and add, “Perhaps we can compare notes over a drink?”

The Sullestan turns, somewhat surprised and gives Kori a long look, up and down. He then turns to face her and replies quietly, "You're looking for Seng Windrunner too? How do you know him?"

He will introduce himself as Imik Suum, and agrees to drinks in a far corner booth.

Now what?

[Zavi]

Zavi:

Zavi follows the others as we meet the eccentric crew of this ship. The Squib goes for his grenade launcher when the assassin droid makes its friendly threats, but lets it go when it seems to be mostly harmless.

Then comes the giant creature that thinks of a wookie as a pet!

He looks at Zavi, "Glad he didn't see you," as his translator squeaks in reply.

“The advantages of being small small,” Zavi notes in agreement. “He would make an impressive mobile mobile weapons platform.”

Once the quarters are reached and divided up, Zavi will stow his extra gear. After that he will approach their escort, Venlana.

“How soon before launch launch?” Zavi asks. “Is there time to check out Captain Zates' cargo?”

[Korianna]

Kori:

The Sullestan turns, somewhat surprised and gives Kori a long look, up and down. He then turns to face her and replies quietly, "You're looking for Seng Windrunner too? How do you know him?"

“I don't know of him specifically,” Kori easily answers. “But there are other men who have disappeared under, shall we say, mysterious circumstances.”

A far corner table is chosen and Kori wave Lani to join them. Once seated, Kori will add, “I was told that you were also looking for someone who is missing, like we are. In our case its my sister's husband. He's a dock worker who was at first arrested by the Imperials and then the next day they denied that had happened. We have no idea where he is right now, but Vorn suggested that we were both looking into the same matter. And here we are, looking to compare notes and find our missing men.”

Approaching the landing bay, Kitazza thanks Neesa, the Falleen, for getting them past the Storm Troopers without incident.

She smiles, satisfaction on her face, "I figured it was in the best interests of several of us. And I am rather convincing," she adds with a chuckle.

"I'd be happy to do so," Neesa begins. Then she breaks into a wide grin. "It shall be interesting teaching you how to generate and transmit pheromones to your subjects."

When Kit sees Vanda, he lets out a low whistle. Vanda is briefly surprised when she sees the Wookie's reaction, but then she smiles and winks in his direction. A moment later as he caresses her curly dark blue hair, she coos in response and runs both her hands through the Wookie's chest hair. "What a surprise," Vanda says, "you're quite the charmer, big guy."

“You don't know where my fur fur has been,” Zavi notes when being kissed.

Kitazza hears Zavi's complaint to Vanda and growls in reply, "You don't know where it's been either," he says with a smirk.

"You're right there," Vanda says with a coy smile.

On board, Kit asks Neesa how she knows the crew. "Actually Venlana and I have worked together before. Our skills seem to compliment each other's rather well. And you could say that Vanda and I have been friendly rivals of a sort."

At hearing that cabin space is going to be tight, Harrison turns towards Neesa and with a wide grin on his face says "Guess that means it's you and me as bunk mates."

Neesa gives Harrison a sideways glance. "Maybe you should ask to bunk with Vanda," she says coldly. "I am going to stay in Venlana's cabin. Thank you."

Kit mentions to Pash that perhaps they can try to take the ship they found in the other landing bay. "It's worth a shot. Assuming the ship is still there. Or we'd have to track it down somehow."

Kitazza asks about whether the crew know anything about Gavos. None of them really know much about it so Vanlana does a computer search. "Gavos is a rock with a harmful atmosphere. It has apparently been the site of oridium mining for some time. Originally owned by a wealthy family from the Core Worlds more than 20 years ago, then bought by a Hutt. Seems like it's changed hands a few times since then. There's not much more about it. You'll need breath masks if you are heading there. It's highly toxic - ammonia and methane with strong winds. Lots of storms from the close proximity to the system's star and of course when it rains, it's a stinging caustic spray. Glad I'm not going out down there."

"We are going to lift off as soon as all you settled," Bep the Ortolan says. "So unfortunate we no have time for extra wait."

Hearing this Harrison says "My subjects? But, I was just meaning the smooth talking you just did there. I would love to learn to be better at that."

"What we have here," Vanda says, "is the embodiment of your wildest dreams." She poses, hands on hips. After the kiss, she doesn't slap Harrison. In fact, she kisses him again. "This should be an interesting trip," Vanda announces.

Caught off guard by the fact that he didn't get slapped and at what Vanda has just said, Harrison finishes the second kiss and says with a big smile on his face "Indeed, you very well might fulfill those dreams, and yes it could be very interesting, if you'll let it."

Neesa gives Harrison a sideways glance. "Maybe you should ask to bunk with Vanda," she says coldly. "I am going to stay in Venlana's cabin. Thank you."

Harrison suddenly realizes he may have gone a bit to overboard on his flirtations with Vanda and blown his chances with Neesa, at least for now. He says "Okay, if that's what you want. It seems like the two of you were close, so I can understand getting reacquainted." Harrison then makes his way to see if Vanda would like the extra company for the trip.
