Allurien:
“Best choices or not, Lilia knows you and your friends,” Allurien notes. “She trusts you while many here are complete strangers to her. It’s only natural that she’d want those she trusts close to her. And you were chosen to restore the Mother Tree. That carries a lot of weight with many elves.”Kylie wrote:"Selecting her court would be a very important set of decisions. However, I don't know if we would be the best choices; after all, there are many elves here who are older, more knowledgeable and more experienced. We may be heroes of a sort, but that doesn't make us good leaders or advisors. Still, I must admit to being intrigued by the idea of being some kind of representative or ambassador that travels to other lands..."
Allurien discovers that she has a houseguest in the form of the half-elf Talen. Allurien doesn’t mind and in fact is glad that Kylie will have a friend close to her. She can sense that her daughter isn’t wholly comfortable being surrounded by elves, so having Talen around will help.
Later that evening, Allurien learns that other Clan Masters has been selected. It seems that one of the others brought forth the notion of Lilia seeking to become the Elfin Queen. That saves Allurien the job of bringing it up and she’ll agree with the reasoning.
“I assume that once we have a full council, we can begin debating the issue of Council Leader and Elfin Ruler,” Allurien states. “After all, it would be in bad taste to fill these positions before we have a full council, even if we have already made our choice.”
With the political issues seeming going in a way Allurien agrees with, she’ll relax that evening at the celebration. She’ll sing and dance and indulge in Feywine. She’s happy to see Kylie partaking in the celebration. Seeing her and Talen together brings a smile to her face.
